I am a classically trained singer with three children. I love Star Trek and have watched probably every episode of every series. Favorite HP charaters are Snape and McGonagall. (not as a couple.)

Saucy...is the one word that comes to mind describing Hermione after reading this story......nice change for her!....thanx for this perspective...good story!...
Response from debjunk (Author of Neighbors)
I love that word! Thank you so much.
I love Keeping Up Appearances! To make it work with my favourite couple is priceless!
Response from debjunk (Author of Neighbors)
LOL, quite the twist, huh?
LOL. Well, she's better than the original Hyacinth! :)
Response from debjunk (Author of Neighbors)
Yeah. The new, improved witches version is better, huh? Thanks, sunny!
Severus, take note. When Hermione is bored, mischief is at hand. Cute story about the ever present annoying neighbor.

Thanks!
What about Richard? And

is always over for tea too!Man, I love that show. It's the best. Some of the greatest laughing fits in my life have come from that woman.

There's just something about British sitcoms. I'm actually more familiar with Are You Being Served than this one, but, well, I'm not gonna say anything more. Thanks!
When I read "tall and leggy" and Hyacinth Bucket in the same paragraph, I knew you were up to something. Hee hee. You've captured the esssence of Hyacinth Bucket, perfectly! "That's Boo-kay" I kept waiting for Onslo to pop his head in the door and say "Awwww, nice," followed by "Our Rose" and Daddy in his WWI helment and trench coat.I can see how pretending to be the indomitable Mrs. Boo-kay would give a bit of counter-punch to Hermione's boring Ministry job. But before all is said and done, I think Severus will become much more familiar with "our Hermione." "Our Hyacinth" will see to that!Well done!Beth
Response from debjunk (Author of Neighbors)
Yes, well, this is the wizarding version, I guess. :) Thanks, Beth. I appreciate your kind words.
Considering that "Hyacinth" is so fond of her "candlelight suppers" Severus is in for quite a time. You really had me going there for a minute - I could not imagine how Mrr. Bucket could EVER be referred to as "leggy".... so I knew you were up to no good !!
Response from debjunk (Author of Neighbors)
That I was! she's a wizarding Boo-kay, I suppose. :)
I have never heard of this "Keeping Up Appearances" show, but this was very cute! Much Love ~ Brena
Response from debjunk (Author of Neighbors)
Thanks, hon. This is actually nothing like the show.
That was very funny! Is this Hyacinth real? It seems as if I've heard of this show before, but I can't really remember. Thanks deb!
Response from debjunk (Author of Neighbors)
It's a British sitcom. She's the main character and actually is middle-aged and looks nothing like this. This is the Wizarding world's version, I guess.
Oh I love it. Severus in black bathing suit in a big tub. The dream turned real, although I'd prefer him without the bathing suit...
Response from debjunk (Author of Neighbors)
Who wouldn't? Well, you can continue the story in your mind and disrobe him however you'd like!
Oh my. Oh my god. I don't know what I expected, but that definitely wasn't it! Funny!
Response from debjunk (Author of Neighbors)
Yeah, tell me about it! Thanks!
*snrts*Should have figured it wasn't the frumpy old Mrs. Boo-kay. :) I loved how it was Hermione in disguise! Thanks for the laughs! :D
Response from debjunk (Author of Neighbors)
This is the new and improved witches version of Mrs. Boo-kay.
LOL Hermione in disguise! Quite clever. You pegged Severus and his reactions so well.
Response from debjunk (Author of Neighbors)
LOL, thanks!
