gosh - quite a revenge. as he said eye for an eye.she had a dreadful life with this man, and an awful death.so should he at least have the awful death. whad effect had the Dark Mark there?short and full of deepest emotins. such good work.

I agree - Tobias got what he deserved for torturing his wife everyday. Severus set the Dark Mark above his home to make it look like the work of one of the Death Eaters - in other words, he did it to keep the blame away from him. Thanks for the review!
i struggle with the concept of forgiveness myself. i just can't condem him for his actions. thanks

Severus couldn't, in good conscience, let Tobias get away with his crimes against his mother. And thank you for offering up this prompt - as soon as I read it, I had this scene flash in my mind, and I knew I had to write it. :)
