Hello There! My name is Karen and I live right outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Way back in 2006 when we needed to put "Half-Blood Prince" spoilers on our fics... when DH didn't even exist... I created my profile here on The Petulant Poetess.
Falling in love with the SS/HG Ship changed my life and allowed me to be in a position to save the site from extinction in 2019. I'm so grateful to be here and to continue to see the wonderful fic here live on for as long as possible.

Snitchette ~ I'm a huge NASCAR fan, and you wouldn't believe the amount of crap I get for it. I don't care what other people think, I enjoy it sooooooooo much. But those people are out there who think it's dumb, boring and hick-ish. Do watch it too? I'm a Matt Kenseth fan, my husband waves a flag for Kyle Busch. I'm not exactly a fan of NASCAR because I live in France and there no way TV channel where I can watch it. But I watch Formula 1 since I was a little girl as my father was "owning" the TV on the sundays afternoons. And he still do (yes there is only one TV in their house). I didn't like it then, but now I'm surprising myself by watching it even when I'm at my own home.And a nearby town organizes parts of the France championship of stock and it's the big frenzy. I love it. So I'm glad I'm not the only girl watching car race s whatever form they are.
according to jeff foxworthy if you show me a baby wlaking arround walmart in a diaper with a baby bottle full of coke, i'll show you a future NASCAR fan. cute! thanks muchly

the idea alone, that Snape would work for the fun-shop is too cool.And then this obsession with baseball.Well, it does look like you come home as an addicited to something or other when you've been to the States. *g*They meant to cure him? uh oh. thats the problem when one who has no clue at all makes a decision. ok. now that I have read the other reviews I do know that I was wrong. No baseball, but a car race. Soo sorry.Live on another continent. Does that count

Hey Salvamea. Don't worry about it. I'm glad you figured it out eventually! You get a pass since you're not in the states! In a way I feel as though Severus could have the ability to be very insecure due to how he was raised and how he was picked on all the time. He puts on a tough guy exterior, but inside, I think he still carries around a bit of baggage. Hermione will have revenge, I can assure you.Thanks for the review!~ Brena

I love the Git-R-Done hat! Can't say I'm a big fan of NASCAR, but I live in the south and have seen abundant evidence of the very addictive nature of the sport in my family and friends.I'm looking forward to finding out what diabolical retribution the Snapes will come up with. Nascar... Really? (this is from someone who grew up obscenely close to the Darlington track and has never watched a race on television, much less actually BEEN to one...)They are noisy and make the air smell bad. :-PCute story though.

.Yeah NASCAR is my other obsession. I got my husband hooked on it last year. We've been to several races at the track in Dover, DE. It's such a rush being there!!!Wow, you lived close to Darlington... sigh. "The Lady in Black," is what they call that track.
