I'm way too old to be visiting sites like this (dare I admit to forty-something!) but my love of all things Severus Snape/Alan Rickman keep me addicted! Poor health keeps me from working and at home all day and gives me too many excuses to read/write fan fiction in an attempt to keep me sane. I have two lovely sons, and an even lovelier hubby, to try and keep me on the 'straight and narrow'. And, now, they're aided in that task by the more recent addition to our family of two beautiful black, male, kittens - Merlin and Mesmer! (I wanted to call them both Alan Rickman-related names, so, naturally, one was very nearly 'Severus'... Unfortunately, my family drew the line at that particular wizard so I had to be a bit more subtle - hence Mesmer [as in Franz Anton for those not familiar with the AR film, 'Mesmer']; the name also happens to be short for mesmerising!) ;-)
I have a few stories (and poems) posted at Occlumency, under the same pen name as here, and have gradually been expanding on my repertoire both here and there over the last two or three years. Despite claiming to be in 'fanfic retirement' of recent times, I now find myself with newer additions on Ashwinder, Fanfiction.net and Granger Enchanted where I go by the names of Sevvy253 or Sevvysgirl/Sevvysgirl253. However, this site retains the most complete listing of all my work to date.
I also have an account on DeviantArt - http://sevvysgirl.deviantart.com/
where I am gradually starting to display some of my artwork 'attempts'! :-)
And - finally - I'm being totally shameless in promoting my own new shop on Etsy! Here is the link: http://www.etsy.com/shop/sevvy253?ref=si_shop
I'm only just starting up, so stock is limited at the moment, but I'm hoping I will go on to bigger (and better) things. From little acorns, and all that ... Please feel free to pop by from time to time to see what changes may be in store (no pun intended!)
Reviews for Talking In Your Sleep
When I read the title I was a little concerned based on what I remmeber about the song. That was delightful.

Thank you for your kind review (and shiny stars - wow!); I'm so glad you liked this story! I picked the title deliberately to try and confuse (then again, there wasn't one entitled Snoring In Your Sleep!) Gorgeous song though by Crystal Gayle - one of my all-time favourites, despite its melancholy theme :-)
they do say that men who have big feet......wear big shoes! (sorry very poor joke.)
Response from Sevvy (Author of Talking In Your Sleep)
Haha! Not sure if you mean my joke on that, or yours! But, whatever way, it was lovely to find another review for this fic in my e-mail inbox this morning after all this time - Thank you SO much for that! xx :-)And, for the record, I do believe Mr. Rickman (who, after all, *is* SS IMHO) wears size 11 shoes - not sure what that says ;-)
Of course, the man snores!!I defence of all big-nosed people: my hubby has a tiiiny nose and snores like hell anyway. Thanks for the giggles. Needed them today. /M
Response from Sevvy (Author of Talking In Your Sleep)
Mine too! (Well, not exactly that tiny, you understand!) But he does snore (though not that often, I'm thankful to say!) And I certainly wasn't implying that all people with big noses snore (I'm sure size makes no difference in fact!) I just thought it would be fun to rather ruin Severus' sometimes 'overly romantic' image and imply he's quite human, after all! This was inspired, I might add, by my own current cold which is giving me even less sleep than usual (not through snoring, but rather my insufferable damn tinnitus etc.) It got me to thinking that I actually wouldn't mind being kept awake by other things, e.g. Severus' snoring! :-)
Ah, we can forgive so much when we're in love!
Response from Sevvy (Author of Talking In Your Sleep)
You are so right,

! And, to be quite honest, I could forgive Severus anything - even snoring (chance would be a fine thing, eh?!) Thanks for the review! :-)
in the words of john lennon to ringo starr "your a window rattler, son." with a nose like that it'd be unnatural if he didn't! lovely and amusing. thanks muchly
Response from Sevvy (Author of Talking In Your Sleep)
Hehe, I'm glad someone else picked up on the 'nose' thing with SS/AR! I have to confess that this fic was inspired by the fact that, as I have a cold at the moment, I got to thinking about the people (both male and female of course) with larger noses who must surely snore more than others?! (They probably don't of course but it was fun thinking about ruining Severus' sometimes 'overly romantic' image with this thought!)I'm so glad you found this amusing - thanks for reviewing! :-)
LMAO. I did not expect snoring to be the culprit. LOL. Cute short.

Thank you so much for your review! I'm really glad you liked my little one-shot! Inspired by me having (yet another!) cold, I have to confess! (Not that I'm owning up to snoring, of course - I have a dear hubby who seems to manage enough of that by himself!) :-)
