Well that was a sad little story. So this only makes me wonder if he only got a picture because hermione wished it so, or if he had one, but it had yet to appear because it wasn't technically finished yet?

You need to buy  shares in ''Kleenex'' after writing such a story, every time I read it I use half a box, and reading the other reviews I'm not the only one. Thank you . I read this when I feel down, it is so uplifting .

Wow, I just read this again and I had to leave a note. I don't remember if I left one before. I got to the last word, (knowing the ending), "Ours" and started crying. Not just tears in my eyes, and not the kind of crying that you have to force out. These were tears that fell out of my eyes, uncontrolled. Even typing the word "ours" right up there ^ brought more tears to my eyes. You have a *magical* way with words. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Oh my goodness, Ariadne, this is so very sweet and perfect and warm and filled with the comforting notion that one has come home after a long journey.  It feels right.  That Severus would wait for her so they could be together forevermore in their portrait is exactly the way it should be.
