Simply gorgeous. You've done an excellent job of capturing his thoughts in simple, one-word bits. I just cannot picture a man—however eloquent he might be under normal circumstances—having deep, profound thoughts at that particular moment. "Finally" and "Breathe" seem much more believable. And of course his final thought, "home," is what makes it love and not just sex and what makes it all kinds of beautiful.Well done, my friend!

I think if a man has deep, profound thoughts during sex, then he has no interest in his partner. :P And I'd imagine that once Severus accepts that Hermione is the right woman for him, he'll never have sex with her but only make love...Thank you for your kind words, darling!
