I really enjoyed this longer version.Good work.As for the latin, you might want to take out the non translated english words (may, of).

In the case of 'of' this would mean that you'd have to decline the names (not an easy job).

Unfortunately I don't remember enough of my latin classes to be of much help there.

I think I saw this before, shorter. I really like how you've extended the story! I like that Hermione, having been found worthy by the magic, gains special insights as a result. Nice touch.

Good story! I enjoyed how their relationship evolved. It was believable, so often it is not.
