Magical Me:
Hiya. I'm tonksinger, mostly former author. I don't expect I'll be writing any more fanfiction, but I invite you to enjoy the stories posted here.
Reviews for Up Against the Wall
Very steamy and very touching at the same time! I wonder what happened when they saw each other again. Brilliant story!

Thank you! I liked intertwining the sex and the emotions, especially at this turbulent juncture.
Just loved it!I have become opsessed with these two!

Thank you! They're an intruiging pair, to be sure.

well done.
Author's Response: Thank you!
RAWR. Brilliant mixture of hawt and emotional, Tonksie. What a scene... poor Severus, and Minerva, too, was grieving and needing to affirm life... I wonder what it was like when they saw one another again... oh, my. :)Well done!
Response from tonksinger (Author of Up Against the Wall)
Thank you very much! I'm fascinated by how people deal with grief and loss of power, and what they turn to for comfort. Mind you, I expect you know rather a bit more about all that than I... :P
Well, I will admit that I skipped over this when it was posted because MM/SS (aww, how cute. Double initials) is really not my thing. I am a stickler for SS/HG, although I will let people borrow one or the other from time to time. I don't think they are icky together or anything, it just doesn't seem right. But, this was spotlighted, so I gave it a go. And you know what, I didn't fall over dead from reading it. In fact, I actually enjoyed it. It is well written and I really kind of like that he has someone who is there, even in his school days, to take care of him during rough times, physically and emotionally. And, should he appear in a dark, private alley somewhere where she happens to be, I would probably read that too. Thanks for broadening my horizons :)

It was my first time writing this pairing; I'd been curious about them for a while. I like the reverse dynamics of the older woman/younger man--it's not common, and I quite like it. I'm very glad to have broadened your horizons, and I'm happy you liked it!
This is even more fun in my second reading of it. Rawr!

*hugs* Thank you!
I saw that you had posted here already in the morning, but I deemed it unwise to read this story before work. Now I am back home and sat here with some ice ... which has melted ... Love this little story!!
Response from tonksinger (Author of Up Against the Wall)
I am tonksinger, slayer of ice!! Fear me and my smut, frozen solids!! :p Thanks, hon!
labile--perfect word! Now, that was hot!
Response from tonksinger (Author of Up Against the Wall)
I delight in that word. It's sexy and suggestive; perfect, bascially. Thank you!
Hoist on her own wishes, isn't she! What a great surprise she must have had when Dumbledore hired him as Potions master. I wonder if we could have one more story - what happens at some time in the future? How do they settle the awkwardness between them?
Response from tonksinger (Author of Up Against the Wall)
Careful who you sleep with, it may come back to bite you :p. No sequel planned (bad plot bunny! Down!!) but maybe.
