I am married and have three sons. SF and fantasy are my favorite genres and J.R.R. Tolkien, Ursula LeGuin, Robert Jordan (both with and without Brandon Sanderson) and George R.R. Martin are some of my fav authors. I really enjoy reading HP fanfic because there is so much variety. I also write fanfic when I get the time--SS/HG for the most part.
Oh, and my day job is a university professor. (Yeah, I'm a nerd!)

Ok... THAT was funny. Thank you for showing the other side of the estrogen/testosterone coin. Cute bit.

I'm really glad that you liked the humor as well as the perspective. Happy aging to us!

Yup, that's the general idea. We all wish empathy was so easy to come by in RL!Thanks for reviewing!
What a wonderful little story. We see Severus and Hermione growing old together but in an untypical way to most fanfictions. You have depicted reality. Fantastic work.

Ooh! Thank you! I often strive for realism in my stories, so your review makes me SO happy! It was actually cathartic for me to write this piece. I'm very glad you enjoyed it.
Hilarious. Very sweet :)

Thank you. Glad you liked!
It's great. This isn't a subject very often approched, but I'm glad you did it. And with so much humour.
Response from orm irian (Author of The Grass Is Always Greener)
Yes, as much as I love SS/HG I sometimes tire of the forever-18-year-old Hermione!I'm happy you enjoyed the humor and topic. Thanks for reviewing.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your kind words.
Oh my, this is too funny! Especially the offer to trade, haha. Great little ficlet ^^

HEHE! I had fun writing it, too. I'm really happy that you liked it. Thanks for the review.
This was very cute. I can't wait to experience that myself. I meant the handsome older gentleman, not the menopause.
Response from orm irian (Author of The Grass Is Always Greener)
Yeah, well, the handsome older gentleman is rather rarer than the menopause... But, best of luck on that front!Glad you enjoyed the piece and thanks for taking the time to review.
ahhh, how sweet! Growing old together. Can't imagine Severus with grey hair but it's an interesting thought. Someone should do some fan art of it!

Hey! good idea about the art. I don't draw though so it can't be me. Know any good artists?Glad you liked this little drabble.
You just managed to make me utter a "naaaw" about a SS/HG. That happens so rarely, it's practically unheard of. Congratulations to you. This was sweet!
Response from orm irian (Author of The Grass Is Always Greener)
Thanks, I'm honored (I think... I would be more certain if I knew what "naaaw' signified, but I hope it's good!)Seriously, I am grateful that you enjoyed it!

That's the sound I tend to make when I find something sweet, adorable, etc. The feeling one has when opening a cardboard box to realise that it is full with kittens. (Geesh, I'm soppy today. Don't tell anyone.)
This is one time I am glad about being a Muggle! At least I didn't have to deal with magic surges. Actually, at the risk of TMI, I kind of got lucky and got it over with early at age 43 thanks to some heavy duty meds for a autoimmune disease. If that is indeed lucky lol. Sorry if that was TMI!

This is the cutest thing ever. I do love the idea of them growing old together. I have read many fics of this ship but haven't seen any about this. It is a really lovely idea of seeing him live. Thank you so much for this story. Cheers!!!

Thanks for you review. I'm glad you liked this little drabble.
