Reviews for Secrets Never Keep
Would have loved to have seen more of the new family dynamic -- especially Lucius & Severus battling out funny Slytherin parental techniques -- but still, a fun story, and I like how you kept Hermione in school! Good on her for not giving up. ^_^b
Thank you for a lovely story.

It's interesting how this is all playing out, I really like this story.

Thank you so much. :)
I'll bet Lucius is glad the meeting's not today, anyway...he still needs time to gird himself for it! Now that he knows, will Hermione and Severus continue to keep their aliases? If things go well, they won't necessarily need to. If things go badly, I suppose they'll want to choose new ones and relocate. Again. I hope things will go well, though.Great story!

Thanks :) I can't tell you any of that though, it would give away the ending of the story. ;)
That went better than I expected. Maybe they can find a way to co-exist without the negative getting in the way.

Anything is possible. :)
Fascinating premise and excellent storytelling, and I've no idea how you are going to resolve the issues. *anticipates classic fic*
Response from Valady (Author of Secrets Never Keep)
Classic? *Squee* Thank you for such a lovely review. You made me smile! :D
Have just discovered this story, and can't wait for the "meeting". You've created a very plausible segue from the events of DH to those in your story. I am totally intrigued by your premise, and very much anticipate whatever is to come!
Response from Valady (Author of Secrets Never Keep)
Thank you so much! *beams*
Nice story! It may not have been Narcissa's nicest move, but it's probably best for Hermione to confront Lucius. The imagination may have grown even worse than reality by now. She already knows that he didn't do what he did because he wanted to; it can help her to know that he suffered as well (though inevitably much less). May prevent further nightmares. Provided that he is not going to force himself into her life and that of her son, of course. They'll need time to adjust and reconsider.

What a well thought out review, thank you.
Oh, and I bet there will be quite the explosion when she finds out that little tidbit of information. It was nice to see that Lucius has no intention of trying to break up Severus and Hermione or take away their child. He obviously sees the importance of the boy to stay in a stable environment. Of course, how stable will Hermione be in the immediate future!
Response from Valady (Author of Secrets Never Keep)
She might surprise you. :) Thanks for the lovely review.
That had to have been a shock for both Hermione and Lucius. Shame on Narcissa for not thinking about Lucius' reaction to seeing them for the first time. I'm glad Severus dismissed her from the office. :D
Response from Valady (Author of Secrets Never Keep)
Well, he wasn't happy with her, but it was time for a wizard to wizard chat. :)
Well, it sounds like Lucius is truly remorseful, even though he had no choice. Still, it's going to be hard for Hermione to see him again... I imagine the mere sight of the man who was forced to rape her brings back all of the horrible memories of how little Alex was conceived. Knowing that, the prospect of Lucius wanting to be part of his child's life will be daunting, indeed. And God help them all should Alex ever learn the truth about how he came to be.

Thanks for such a wonderful review. :) I think you'll like how it turns out.

I am really enjoying your story. Your pacing is good and I am not 100% sure where you are headed -- which is good for me. Thanks for posting. I look forward to your next chapter, JoAnne

Thank you for such a lovely review. *glows*
Nicely done. I like the idea that Lucius understands something about Severus and Hermione's actions.

I'm intrigued!! Please update again soon!

Thanks! The next chapter will be in the queue soon. :)
Claiming Alexander as his child would definitely silence Lucius' critics whether he has dropped his Pureblood supremacist views or not, so it would certainly be in Lucius' best interests to do so. On the other hand, it could also potentially open a huge public can of worms regarding the circumstances of Alexander's conception and turn into a bloody painful mess for everyone involved. Not to mention what it would do to Alexander himself were he to find out what happened... and what a horrible way to turn a child's world upside down and inside out. I could cheerfully strangle Narcissa right about now.
Response from Valady (Author of Secrets Never Keep)
Hold off on that strangling... things may not turn out as they appear to be. :)
Very interesting start - looking forward to more.

This is really good. By the little summary I was not expecting what happened in the chapter which is a good thing. I look forward to other chapters.
