I'm a 40-something old, happily married mother of a teenager, whose passion is reading, reading and - oh did I already mention - reading.
I live in Austria, so my native language is German (or better: a slang thereof), but since I was forced to learn English in school I reluctantly discovered my love for it.
Here at the Petulant Poetess I can combine my passions: reading, English and the Potterverse.
So far I'm mostly reading; I'm feeling comfortable enough to write the occasional one-shot, but I don't think I have skill to pen down a longer story. But who knows ...

Very nice story, theories like Rekhi make me wonder if there is a Wizarding world out there..
I love it. Makes me a bit tearful. I always want Snape to have a happy ending.

Great story, and great idea! I just wish you had enlarged MUCH more on the period between Snape's wakening and the last part... *g*
Author's Response: Thank you.
The focus in this story was on Reiki and on Hermione's perseverance. But I think our imaginaition can fill the missing part perfectly :-)
Very beautiful. A really nice, feel-good fic. Thanks.

Thank you for R&R!
Lovely and very well written. The perseverance of Hermione to see Severus healed body and soul despite the obstacles by the other healers warmed my heart. :D

I read Japanese manga so it was nice to see Reiki incorporated into a HP story. Well done.

I haven't seen it done before and it was definitely a challenge.Thank you!
Very charming little fic here. Thanks for the enjoyable time you've given me with.

Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed it.
I love that she is deterlminate enough to try and succeed toheal him. And also that him as a child represents his conscience and soul. It's a very lovely story.

I think determination should be Hermione's second name.Thank you.
Absolutely wonderful, especially the end! Thank you so much for sharing!

No, thank you for reading and reviewing!
Stories where Hermione doesn't give up on Severus (or vice versa) are some of my favorites, and this one fits the bill to a "T". I loved reading it and was especially happy to realize that there was dark-haired little girl whom Severus and Hermione love as they love each other.Very nice!Beth

Thank you. I'm glad the story fitted your bill :-)
I like the way it skips from him waking up to the black-haired daughter in the last section. :)

I deliberately left much to the reader's imagination here.Thank you for R&R!
What a lovely story! And I definitely think Hermione has the heart and the determination to keep trying to help Severus where everyone else had essentially written him off.BTW, this fic reminded me a bit of a short story called 'Dat-Tay-Vao' by F. Paul Wilson. A rather dark story compared to this one, but excellent.

Thank you telling me you liked my story.I don't know the story nor the author, but you have compelled me to find a summary on the web, and I'd very much like to read it. I think I will try and get an anthology where the story is included.HermioneDiggory's response: The story is included in an anthology by Wilson called 'Soft and Other Stories'. They're all quite dark in tone, but it's a very good read.HermioneDiggory's response:
Or rather it's called 'Soft and Others: 16 Stories of Wonder and Dread'.
I saw the title in the "recent fanfiction" list and, immediately recognizing the symbol's name, I decided to see how you'd used Reiki in the story. It was, to say the least, a pleasant surprise. Hermione and Reiki seem to be an odd combination at first, but you made them work quite well together. Well done.

Thank you for letting me know that you liked the story.Yes, for someone as rational as Hermione it doesn't seem likely to be using Reiki; but I think someone living in the Magical world probably should accept some things easier than a rational Muggle.
