Born: in the glorious year of 1979, when Dio joined Black Sabbath and Peter Pettigrew started passing on information to the Dark Lord
Colours: black, green, silver
Passions: writing, cooking, baking, witchcraft
Obsessions: quite a few, chocolate for one (hi Lupin!), but mainly a certain Potions master and a blond DE.
When I am not writing alone, I co-write with my favourite Ravenclaw star_girl. Look for sevs_starsisters to find our stories.
Published writer since 2014. Original fiction is good fun, but I find myself returning to fan fiction every now and then

Yup. I always thought of Star Trek's tribbles. Great little story.

I love Tribbles! I want one!!!
Fortunately, we too are immune to his tough exterior that fiercely shields the tender heart we die for! This was adorable, and soooo sweet!

I had so much fun writing this. Glad you liked it. :-)
As Spock would say: "Fascinating!" Love the reference and yes, it made me smile.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
Yay, smile-points for me!! :)
(Snerk!) Oh, the cute... Thanks for this lovely gem; I really enjoyed it. Cat

Thank you! It was great fun to write and even more fun to see that you readers like it! :)
Yes! I generally write an LJ recap of Saturday Night Drabbles.community.livejournal.com/potterplace/105714.htmlThis was incredibly cute, and I loved the Star Trek reference! :)

Smile indeed - how sweet! :o)
Author's Response: Yay! Smiles are good!!
I love the Spock line. As soon as I saw the summary in the LJ recap, I recognized the reference and could just hear it!
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
LJ recap? Did I miss something? Hm, Spock and Snape ... does it get any better?
Lol! Very cute :)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
Thank you! I had loads of fun writing it. /M
Thanks for the giggle. I can totally see the "furtive" petting. lol
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
Cute, eh?
I love how you compare Snape to Spock. They are both characters of similar qualities. Their very mystery teases us. If you have ever seen the spoof Galaxy Quest, Alan Rickman plays a character much like Spock. At the very end of the movie he even has a moment where he raises an eyebrow exactly like Nimoy. It is a very funny.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
Spock was my first true love. Now Snape has stolen my heart.Hey, my boyfriend's name starts with an S and has five letters, too. I could get a tattoo: I S.... And I love AR in Galaxy Quest: "By Grabthar's hammer", hehe
Response from joyfulheart (Reviewer)
I married a man with a last name that has five letters and starts with S. Cooincidence? Yeah, probably
thank you for the grin - really enjoyed it!!
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
Yay. Grin's good! :)
Adorable, and a perfect accompanyment to Deb's story. Immune! Thanks for the great read. AV

Glad you liked it. It was great fun to write. /M
Love the irony, Severus is so enthralled he hasn't seen it yet.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
Trickie!!! Missed you!Never thought I'd see the words "Severus" and "enthralled" in one sentence. Looks good, though./M
Yes, it made me smile. I love Severus' statement considering he was actually petting the fluff ball.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
Even our sour Potions master has a heart underneath his tough shell.Glad I succeeded with the smile-intention. :)
Fortunately, Severus is immune, or what on earth would happen to the universe? hee, hee, I inspired you! I'm very happy for that. And HP mixed with Star Trek... perfection.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
Yes, you did inspire me *bows* Thank you.And you're right, it doesn't get much better than a HP/ST-mix, especially not if it's a Severus/Spock mix :-)Have a nice start of the week. /M
I thought there was an echo of Tribble there! Thanks for a lovely read.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
I haven't seen that episode for 15 years at least. And still, the Tribble linger. Amazing! Thanks for reading and leaving a note. /M
I thought of Star Trek as well. Cute bit of fluff and enjoyable to read.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
I must say that - now and then - fluff is incredibly enjoyable to write as well.Cheers. /M
Oh, yes -- it definitely made me smile! Before I even read the story, I knew that there was something familiar about the title but I just couldn't place it...then when I started reading, everything fell into place. Actually -- although Spock (at least younger Spock) would probably disapprove of Severus's frequent displays of temper -- I think Spock and Severus have a few things in common, especially since Spock seems to come to terms somewhat with his human side as he grows older.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
I was totally in love with Spock when I was a kid. Then Severus came along ... dark hair, tall, big nose, emotionally detached, not too happy with their heritage, misunderstood ... pattern, anyone? Glad to see that I succeeded with the smile! /M
This is so cute. I love Severus defending himself from being attached to a pet.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
Cute is exactly what I was going for.Wouldn't put it past Severus to feed the Pygmy to the Slytherin House mascot thought ;-)Glad you liked the drabble. /M
So it was you blocking the queue here at TPP - I might have known!!
Now I'm going to go off to bed with thoughts of trying to turn myself into a lilac pygmy puff ... so that Severus can set me off purring ;-)
(As you can probably guess, I really loved this!) :-)
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
*huffs indignantly, Severus-style* I do not block the queue. I'm a validated author. Pha! Sleep well, now, little lilac Pygmy Puff.
Dear morgaine_dulac. Speaking as an avid fan of not only the great Severus Snape, but the great Spock as well, I can only say this: You DID make me smile. Thank you.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
Dear Contessa,Looks like I am not the only one falling for tall, dark-haired, emotionally detached men with a big nose then ;-)Glad this little piece of fluff made you smile. /M
Immune, yes, yes I see that quite clearly, yep immune alright, thats the trouble with Tribbles Pygmy Puffs.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
They are so cute!!
Someone had to write it. They're JUST like Tribbles.
Response from morgaine_dulac (Author of Fortunately, I Am Immune)
I'm amazed that no one wrote it before. (Maybe I just haven't read it ...) Tribbles are just so adorable. And so are Snape and Spock.Glad you liked it! /M
