I am amazed and enthralled with the Harry Potter universe, with the emphasis on Snape. HG/SS is my favorite ship (you have been warned). I like sci-fi ? Star Wars, Quantum Leap, Star Trek, and Ray Bradbury to name a few. Horror also catches my interest as in Stephen King. I am a married, mother of two teenagers, multiple pets (dogs, cats, rabbits, turtle), and I work way too many hours. The rest is window dressing and subject to change without notice. I am also on staff on a wonderful new site called Playwitch. Visit when you get a minute: WWW.Playwitch.net

Hi Pearle.
Good story.
thank you, Patty
I really enjoyed this. I liked your idea of how book 7 would end. Obviously, this wasn't the case but I most definatly agree that through his life Harry would suffer with mental illness. Who would not after such a childhood?
Thank you for this.
That's almost exactly as I saw it before reading Book 7. I couldn't believe our dear Potions Master would live. I thought Harry would be mentally adled, too. Great, great writing! I was very moved by the way you portrayed Hermione - survivors' guilt and all. Wonderful!
Wow wow wow Super dark I concure with your theory about the real book I don't think many people will like it. But hey that is why we have you! You rock and make most of our lured fantsies come true.
God, I hope that Jo doesn't do that to us. I know there will be character deaths, including or also, Harry, Snape, Ron and Hermione but even with death the living can go on. I did enjoy this very much, you are a wonderful writer Pearle!
I believe the exact opposite!I believe Snape and Harry BOTH survive and they both find happiness...I thought that was very good though but I don't like the idea of Harry NOT ending up with Ginny and having his own family!
Well it is not as dark as I thought it might be. But then again I tend to agree with you. I think that it is unlikely that Harry will come away whole, and Ron would be my guess as to who would die with him, because Hermione has more emotional depth and would keep returning to talk to her friends even as she goes on with her life. And we will all be living in an alternate universe, but that is alright.
My, my... we are dark these days, aren't we? lol... Good story, though I think Harry will live at the end of book 7. Pity they found out too late about Snape. :(
I have to agree with you that this is very close to how the 7th book will end. I have a feeling that most of the characters we have ever had the priveledge to meet through JKR's genius will be anniliated in the Final Battle. And I also have to say that I loved your story-very honest, very painful, very real. I too have theories of Dumbledore somehow forcing Snape to kill him-in front of Harry, no less. Keep up the great work because I love it!RotM
It is excellent in its horror and sadness, and makes so much more sense than the canon ending. I've been afraid that something like this might happen to Harry.
I'm a little late to the game just reading this now, but it's a beautiful ficlet! I almost wish DH had ended this way. Then again, I'm not one for fluffy endings.
Nice work!
A better endng than what jkr gave us.
Wow! Dark and painful. This is one gloriously angsty fic, a bit darker than JK's, but maybe if she'd have tried channelling the spirit of Lovecraft whilst writing DH... *shrugs*
Good fic. Many thanks.
