I don't read poetry very often, not even in my mother tongue; but I enjoyed this. I doesn't matter that the meter is not always spot on, it is very enjoyable nonetheless.

The meter was written in that way purposely. It wasn't intended to be serious, hence the jarring on some of the lines. Glad you liked it.

Really good, and I'm not one for poetry. It's a bit like the 'DVD case summary' of their relationship (with the added bonus of couplets and smut). Very clever of you! =]

This definitely brought a smile to my face! I actually write poetry more than anything else so I'm a great fan.I realise that this is light hearted (more of a 'limmerick' really) so I'm not going to be critical as you've certainly left 'a wide berth' with your rhyming technique! However, that only adds to the fun so well done for this - I'm glad I'm not the only one who attempts poetry!BTW: I can't think of many who would be able to include Ann Summers name somewhere in a poem!! :-)

lmao... I know the poem doesn't toally rhyme, it wasn't meant to. I am a huge fan of Maya Angelou, and no, I am not comparing my meagre effort with hers, but she writes in a similar stlye and the ends don't always meet, if you get my meaning. I am glad you liked it, anyway!
I must check out this Ann Summers; you've mentioned her in a couple of your stories. Love this little poem!

Oh right! I didn't know that was used in Top Gun...lol, my husband used to say it to me when we were dating... *snort*... that was 20 yrs ago. He doesn't say it now... lmao
