Elisabeth is also known as scribbler14 on Ashwinder and scribliz on LiveJournal. She regrets the confusion. She would rather be Elisabeth everywhere, but it didn't occur to her in time, which tends to happen a lot. Elisabeth is basically an ss/hg shipper but will follow Snape anywhere, such as slash, because he is Just. That. Cool.

You've nailed them perfectly. Thank you for a great job. This reminds me of Tootsie and has all the awkwardness, sensuousness, displaced, slow-building warm feel of on of my favourite movies. To whom it may concern: the author of this lovely ficlet bears no responsibility for the equation Severus Snape = Dustin Hoffman, which is a product of my own twisted mind :D
Response from Elisabeth (Author of State Secrets)
Thank you for such terrific comments! And for the idea of Dustin Hoffman as Snape, which I agree is twisted, but in an oddly appropriate way, LOL.
That's an interesting outcome to a speed dating experiment...the picture of Snape as a woman but still acting rather Snape-like is entertaining.
Response from Elisabeth (Author of State Secrets)
Thank you! I think Snape couldn't help acting Snape-like, in any format :)
What fun!! You did a grand job with this - thank you so much for your hard work!
Response from Elisabeth (Author of State Secrets)
Oh, thank YOU very much for reviewing -- so glad you liked it!
very funny, and the idea of speed dating is brill! Thanks for sharing this lunacy with us. Like George, I know a good bit of silliness when I see it.
Response from Elisabeth (Author of State Secrets)
Yes, GeminiScorp totally rocked with this prompt. And I'm so glad you appreciated the fine art of silliness :)
Oh, very nice! That was an absolutely lovely confection, ma'am; I really enjoyed reading it. You did an excellent job on portraying "Sabrina" with just the right clues, and your characterizations were very good. Thank you very much for posting this, Cat
Response from Elisabeth (Author of State Secrets)
You're welcome, Cat! I'm happy you thought the clues worked -- I didn't want anyone too confused too long :)
I want the boots too! :)
Response from Elisabeth (Author of State Secrets)
Heh. They're pretty cool, though I'm trying to get the amber silk scarf, myself :) Thanks for reviewing.
lol... I really enjoyed this. Poor Severus, having to fess up like that!
Response from Elisabeth (Author of State Secrets)
Yes, it was a moment from the Totally Awkward Hall of Fame, wasn't it? Thanks!
I love this story! It was sweet, and funny, and with great characterization for all parties. And you can't go wrong with a story about wizard speed-dating! One of my favorite lines was: "From what George said, it makes Quidditch look like the Department of Mysteries." I nearly choked on my drink when I read that! Great stuff. Thanks for sharing!
Response from Elisabeth (Author of State Secrets)
Thanks -- the speed-dating prompt was irresistible! So glad you liked it :)
