On the eve of her engagement, Hermione and Sirius are captured by Death Eaters and taken before the Dark Lord. Sirius has discovered a previously dormant and powerful force of magic within himself. He struggles to control and harness the power to free them both from Voldemort and the plans he has for he and Hermione. But where does this magic really come from? Will Sirius learn to control it in time? Or will this unknown power destroy who he is and those he loves.

Favorite Pairings: Hermione/Sirius, Hermione/Harry, Hermione/Cedric, Hermione/Blaise, Hermione/Remus, Hermione/Lucius, Hermione/Draco, Hermione/Death Eater, Hermione/Snape, Hermione/Tom aka Voldemort -- Hermione with just about anyone OTHER than Ron. I just can't fathom that pairing (sorry Jo). I also don't like Harry with Ginny (Yuck, pa-too-ee).
I also enjoy: Slash, Moresomes-- I'll read anything as long as it's written well or turns me on (lmao).

Nice start! I can't wait to find out who the perpetrator is of the damaged wards at the Burrow. One would think it might be Ron, with a half-baked idea for only Sirius to get hurt by it, but I'm not sure even he's that out to lunch! That only leaves... Victoire. That little innocent baby act didn't fool me for a minute! 
Seriously, though, I hope you post a new chapter soon, and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens.

Shucks! And here I thought I'd fooled everyone and in one fell swoop you ruin the entire secret plot. (lol) Poor Victoire.I have quite a bit of the next chapter completed and then it needs to go to my beta but it might be a while because I am working on several stories at once. But hang in there, you'll like the 2nd chapter.

I thought that it was fantastic to see how passionately Sirius cares for Hermione, that she feels comfortable with him, and is not ready for marriage (especially to Ron). I would love to read of Sirius and Hermione hooking up and their deliciously sinful smut-filled activities (I'm such a perv, LOL).;~D ~*~*~This chapter is VERY well written--keep up the good work!☺I'm looking forward to reading ADDITIONAL chapters!~*~*~Umm, this story has the following labels/notes...Genres: Drama, Smut, Action/Adventure, Horror Warnings: Abuse/Rape, Blood/Gore, Explicit Sexual Content, Torture, ViolenceChapters: 1 Completed: Yes... Your review was a hoot. I promise this chapter was so not supposed to be a cliffy, I'd had a good portion of the second chapter completed before posting the first. But then I got started on a slew of other stories and to be honest this site is a bit picky on bunches of stuff, which I understand because you need to keep the integrity of the stories but it does get a bit daunting and I have asked several betas on this site to go over my stories but no one has answered and so I gave up on posting here. I have posted on other sites. GE, though particular (as they should be), had let me slide under the radar once. But I have a beta for this story on that site now and a beta for Diggory In Deep and An Unexpected Trio as well but when I tried to post the next chapters here, they had some concerns on grammar and punctuation and such even though it had been beta'd! Perhaps the fact that it appears that this site adheres more to the British spelling and grammar whereas GE and on FFN I don't believe they do although I'm not 100% sure on that. Honestly, I'd given up on this site and to be truthful once more I haven't completely finished chapter 2 of Sirius' Sacrifice although my other two stories have been updated on the other sites.I am in no way criticizing this site. Everyone here has been nothing but pleasent and wonderful to me but NO beta that I have e-mailed as returned an answer and I have e-mailed several!! Again, I state, I have enjoyed posting here but until someone on or from this site decides to beta for me, the chances of me updating here are slim to none. I'm sorry about that, really I am but I feel I have no other option.Take care and I loved your review. BTW: Torture and a prelude to rape was in the next chapter as was Mad Eye Moody accusing everyone under the sun at the Burrow of being the traitor (lol). I love that man!
