Hermione has less than a week to solve the one thing stopping her from receiving her inheritance – her marital status. Severus who has become a good friend, does his best to stand by the side, only offering support, but in the end he's there to rescue her in more ways than one.

Severus would no doubt have guessed that Molly would interfere in someway. But unfortunately... he doesn't want to interfere himself and in doing so takes himself out of the equation!

Well, at least something good came from that meeting. Maybe they should have suggested she try Snape?

Lovely update, especially since Hermione and Ron where on the same page with regards to any romantic involvement:-)) I hope that Hermione will open the envelope Severus gave her soon and that it contains what I hope it will contain:-))

Hopefully it's because of Snape's advice. Molly, Molly, Molly, when will you ever learn? You can't drive your children's lives, no matter how hard you try. At least neither one wants a relationship with the other. That could have been really awkward. You created quite a funny situation with Lavendar popping up.

Lavender is such a jealous woman, and she slaps first and asks questions later. Poor Ron. Between Lavender and Molly, I'd say he has his hands full.I wonder what advice Lavender has given her and how it might differ with Severus'. I wish Hermione would open his letter! But she's not desperate yet, so she won't go there. Yet.A very nice chapter, and looking forward to the next update!Beth

I don't feel sorry for Ron at all... I think he secretly likes it... means he doesn't really have to think for himself... sort of like the grown-up way of copying someones homework. Lol.The next chapter should be up soon!

*grin* I think that's what Hermione's fatle flaw is. She can work out anything complicated, but something simple, staring her in the face, and it's like she's got a brick wall stopping her seeing it!Thank you for the review!

The plot unfolds. I loved the interaction between Hermione and Severus. She definitely has a place in his heart.

I liked this!!! A great start (though I would have loved to read more:-)), with an excellent plot! I like stories where Hermione and Severus have a friendship that grows into love (I hope:-)), for me they seem perfect in personality to build a frinedship! I look forward to read more!!!
