Reviews for The Orchard
Yep I can see that he is not completely honest with Albus, but rather try to manipulate him by faking attraction, maybe even love. That's disgusting. Albus is no weak thing, but being used in that way ... I'm sad for him.
Wow, how neat! Gellert ... brrrr, makes me feel sorry for Albus. I suppose to G's credit - and you're right for pointing this out, tesh - he does try to protect Albus in the end from Voldybutt's final desecration.Nice snapshot.

Thanks! In the end, I felt sorry for Gellert. I think he finally figured out where he went wrong with Albus, if not with everything else he'd done.
Here via Chivalric's rec.
Very steamy, and I like that you leave it open whether Gellert was purely manipulative or whether he had feelings for Albus in return. Well done!

Thank you! They're such an interesting pair!
Yummy, I love the slashy goodness. This was totally hot.

Thanks!
Though yours is extremely well written, I really hope that Gellert actually loved Albus in return, rather than merely using his affections. Very original!

I was thinking about all the angles on this and then it was pointed out to me that Gellert died protecting Albus' grave from desecration. He had to have known Voldemort could just rip the information from his mind and kill him. Heck, if he's offered to join in the fight Voldemort might just have sprung him and they live happily ever after in their reign of terror... but he didn't. He would rather have his mind raped and then die, rather than give Voldemort the information to crack open Dumbledore's grave willingly.I have been swooning ever since. Maybe it was a selfish love, but I think it was there.
fucking brilliant, pardon my language. I am a big fan of slash, and that was very much in character and hot on top. Well done - more, please!

Thank you!!
i really like this. you capture the manipulative aspect of the situation very well, and yet it's still really hot. which - i mean, it's dumbledore, so - very well done!

thanks!
Owww Very good indeed. From Albus wanting to love him to Gellbert uses his body to make him believe his mutual affections. So twisted .... so good to read!
