Reviews for A Conspiracy of Witches
Good Lord, this is funny! From Severus' “Nothing like a little role-reversal to liven things up," to Minerva's “His cockiness will be all used up,” I laughed till I cried! But the funniest line of all is A cleverly hidden Severus with cramping muscles was wondering what in tarnation was keeping the girls.Beth

I think humor is best when it has a realistic basis. Yes, it will be all used up.The last line is in honor of the wizards who have waited patiently while we primped.
Hummmm. MMHG? Okay, now that I've got my mind around that one, I'm ready for whatever comes. I think. LOL!Beth
Response from Amita (Author of A Conspiracy of Witches)
For mm-hg I had to fight through a number of preconceptions myself. In a previous response, I carried on much too much about Minerva being in the prime of life for a witch. I'm trying to give her as much fun as I hope I have at that age.
ha... this story is pretty funny... can't wait to read more!
Response from Amita (Author of A Conspiracy of Witches)
Thanks. Always appreciate feedback on humor.
I'm not sure how to make this make sense--haven't the words for it--but there is a primordial 'noble' energy and state of existential sexuality exuded from the couplings of the snake and the lion with the witches--one could easily say 'boy, Snape truly has learned and mastered the art and matter of Transfiguration exceedingly well and beyond (having the expert Minerva pleased in more ways than one)'--sorry I joked in the last review about the narrative giving way to a brilliant vivacious 'porn' before reading this chapter--having now read this one, the two combined make for a profound and brilliantly evocative heightened erotica unsurpassable--thank you for writing and sharing this!*grovelling like Wormtail before the Dark Lord* before your skill and evocative tale, as anyone's inner kitten can not but be released by reading it! *purrrrrrrrrr*

Also have been meaning to express how wonderful you/your writing is in each and every, any and all works on this site--you are a rare true evocative wordsmith and master of the art of writing--again, thank you for sharing your talent and vision here!
Response from Amita (Author of A Conspiracy of Witches)
Your review may have redeemed the last two chapters. Despite their banter, the witches may have needed the appearance of the inner beast to complete the evening. After all, they did decline to split up and be picked off as per horror movie protocol. Running parallel with his agressiveness, is his sincere admiration of them, dedication to them, and concern for their welfare. No need to be sorry about an accurate description of a story that made an abrupt change.Thank you for all the kind words although, to be balanced, I do not turn out the deep and stark dramas that you write.PS: My delay in responding can be explained by my having to catch my breath after reading your review.

All of your writing is brilliantly unique, and this story in particular highlights the uniqueness--the abrupt change in chapter three is a wonderful, effective dynamic that layers on, taking the reader deeper into the same forest that chapters one and two are in, even more deeper and fuller into these characters' psyche--the 'abrupt change', for me, reflects true life and the spontaneity that occurs within it, one of various extensions possible (or perhaps what some readers can allow themselves to experience through and (safely) within the story)--very titillating and engaging! Thank you, but I'm just a moody amateur, recreational scribbler, who for some reason time to time gets hit by a whim or struck by some odd idea and have this compulsion to write when time and real life allows. Again, truly enjoy your abundant and rich variety of writing that such a prolific author as yourself shares--so happy that such quality by a master of writing/wordsmith is on TPP to experience, thanks again!
Oh yes! So glad the girls ended up having so much fun with their studly snakey Severus that the narrative had to give over to the moment and let the porn flow and wrap and slide up and around everything and everyone--hot and heated extended development--thank you!
Response from Amita (Author of A Conspiracy of Witches)
I appreciate the review and your flexible attitude toward this chapter. I think I let the story go awry: lost the humor and let a dark element into the erotica. I often wish I had continued in the same vein as the first two chapters.
Response from nagandsev (Reviewer)
Well, I for one feel that the humour was kept throughout, the foundation of the chapter, and then the erotica was further added on as a plausible, natural extension--and the bit of a dark element was breathtaking as a reader to experience--it has the reader on edge--in a good/exciting/titillating way--I mean, for me, it's an element of this supernatural, mercurial world these characters are set in--adult witches and wizards--it enriches and expands their experiences with each other in an engaging development, and having the wizard transform into a creature (a sensual snake/slytherin) is fantastically appropriate, believable, and effective--again the dash of a dark element into the erotica (some feel the sexual act/sexuality/the sensual can be/is both 'dark' and 'light') powerfully adds to these characters' make up and contrasts the innate humour they have enjoyed bantering and teasing each other with earlier, imho.
It’s strange what one gets used to, thought Severus(...) HA! Can barely type a review as I wish to quickly move on to the next chapter and see if and how Severus' cockiness gets used up!Love the idea of the adult version, and all of Minerva and Hermione's digs at and teasing with Severus... He may be enjoying it as well--just not be aware of how much yet--have a feeling that the flannel nightgowns and lace knickers might truly enlighten him about a few things more--great chapter!
Response from Amita (Author of A Conspiracy of Witches)
Thanks. Misunderstandings and cross-purposes continue to proliferate.
Nothing like a little witch-on-witch action to bring out more fully the metrosexual in Snape! My facial muscles are *hurting in a good way* from grinning, giggling, guffawing, and huffing in pleasure so much. Lovely, delightful, whimsical work!
Response from Amita (Author of A Conspiracy of Witches)
Thanks. The witches are having their revenge. Severus's speech to the faculty is nearly a verbatim rendition of a consultant's inspirational message to corporate executives.
"Rowr, indeed," goes the happy reader.
Response from Amita (Author of A Conspiracy of Witches)
Glad you enjoyed the story.
Hehe, I love your A/N and whole-heartedly agree!
Response from Amita (Author of A Conspiracy of Witches)
Thanks. I often wish I had written this more like the first two chapters.
LOL, I am loving this!
Response from Amita (Author of A Conspiracy of Witches)
Ah, yes, the scheming witches.
LOL, I just adore this scheming McGonagall! Poor Severus!
Response from Amita (Author of A Conspiracy of Witches)
Thanks. They're playng witht he poor man's mind.
