I'm a Michigander who works from home, keeps my husband in line, and raises two wild, wonderful daughters. I write so I don't go insane.
Reviews for Gingersnapes
I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this one, haha. I love the title!
Wow, completely unexpected. I don't think I've ever even heard the term "Mpreg" before this, let alone read a story. I'm usually a die-hard SS/HG fan, but this was really a lovely story. When I first saw the prompt I just about died laughing and I just had to read it. Thank you for that lovely flower of a story!
Awww, cute story! I never read anything like it. Grandma Molly must be over the moon. Can you imagine what the girls' minds would be like? the genetic combination could produce another Dumbledore. (or two)

I assure you, they are very smart little gingersnapes :D Thanks so much for reading!
BOY, is this outside my ship! I like stories about Hermione. LOL this is very funny. But not at all whatI expected to be reading tonight. Thanks for sharing this wild ride.

You're welcome! And thanks for giving it a shot!
Awwww TWINS!! I should have known considering one of their parents is George. Thank you for not giving them rhyming names. Say there will be more?
Response from peppermint (Author of Gingersnapes)
Rhyming names are the devil. I was going to include the name meanings in the notes, but forgot! Macha means "red-headed one", and Branwyn was a done-wrong queen, sister of Bran. Both are from Celtic myth. This is the end of the tale - but one never knows when supplemental drabbles in the Gingersnapes universe may come along, after all....
Hehe. Snape. Daddy to twin daughters. *Snicker* Poor George, wasn't expecting twins. Lotsa love for the Gingersnapes!
Response from peppermint (Author of Gingersnapes)
Thank you so much!

A worthy end to this cute and funny little tale! *grins widely*
"... and started in spoiling them rotten" - I love that line!
Author's Response: Thanks for sticking with it! Spoiling is what grandmas are for, after all :D
excellent! twin daughters! bwahahahahaha! well, i'm sad it's over, but you tied it up so nice. the perfect balance of funny and sweet, just like it has been from the start.
Response from peppermint (Author of Gingersnapes)
Thank you sooo much, kitty! And one never does know when an additional drabble from the Gingersnapes universe may pop up...
Oops. George is so confused that he donesn't remember the correct name Severus want to use for their daughter. Wasn't it supposed to be Branwyn? And I've thinking. I won't let a Healer lay a hand on me if they can't even guess there will be twins. *grin* Fortunately it's for my utmost pleasure. *bows deeply*
Response from peppermint (Author of Gingersnapes)
Did I screw up the O and A there? Ah well, it's pronounced the same, no matter how it's spelled. Thanks for reading!
Cute ending. Twins... who would have thought.
Response from peppermint (Author of Gingersnapes)
It's a little cliche... but... I couldn't really do it any other way!
There *is* a Forge/SS ship? I wonder if there has ever been a 'which identical twin' paternity case? Seems as if it wouldn't be entirely improbable... Fun.
Response from peppermint (Author of Gingersnapes)
I don't know if there IS a ship, but I've read at least two Snape/Forge stories before. How many stories does there have to be for a ship? :D Thanks!
I'm pretty sure this one is WAY out of my ship but It's entertaining nontheless. Keep up the good work. =D (I don't know if I should feel more sorry for George or Snape~lol)
Response from peppermint (Author of Gingersnapes)
I'd feel worse for George. Snape will eventually recover from the hormones...
How many first born Weasley children had two Dads? I think its about time we had a baby girl first! Pretty please?
Yipes. Snape with raging hormones. You've done a brilliant job of painting it as both terrifying and entertaining.
Woot!

Oh dear, poor Severus, and poor George, too. To have to spend a prolonged time in bed must be awful vor Severus (knocking over cauldrons *giggle*), but the moods for George to endure... this is so sweet and funny *laugh*
I was giggling during the whole chapter but the last line is so cute. *awwwwww sigh* Severus being nice and making compromises. George should enjoy as it's a rare sight.
More, please.
Leave it to Luna to state what everyone else was mortified about. Well, maybe it was just closer to shock, eh?
All right, all the hype got me over here. Quite funny.
Response from peppermint (Author of Gingersnapes)
Thanks!
Hormonal! Snape. Scary! :)
ROTFLThis had so many wonderful moments! I particularly liked Arthur's answer to George: "Your mum had her moody moments, but Severus is moody all the time. Just do your best not to take it personally.”I also liked the moment at the end - so sweet! :)
Response from peppermint (Author of Gingersnapes)
Thank you!!
okay, so i was guffawing from snape's first bit of dialogue. but my favorite part was that sweet little moment at the end. *sigh* but- special thanks to those who are reading out of their ship - my question is, is this actually somebody's ship?!! i had no idea. :D
Response from peppermint (Author of Gingersnapes)
I'm sure it's someones ship, somewhere, But a lot of folks don't go outside their ship to read, whatever it may be. I can get behind pretty much any non-incestuous ship, LMAO, but some folks are more die-hard.
Response from kittylefish (Reviewer)
ah, i see what you mean. thanks for 'splaining it to me.
Response from peppermint (Author of Gingersnapes)
I can see how my original wording was a bit ambiguious. I soooo spelt that wrong, LOL. No problem, love :)
