i really liked the begining and thought your hermione was sympathetic and interesting, but i have to say the "little one" endearments just rubbed me the wrong way and i couldn't wrap my mind around it for some reasons. i look forward to checking out some of your other stuff and thanks of course for writing and sharing.

Thank you for the review, little one is actually an endearment I go back and forth with. Sometimes i think it sounds like something you would call a child, and othertimes not.
At first your Hermione astounded me - she seemed to be rather cold hearted, especially about Ron. They have been friends for so long; I hope she will be able to see him as a friend again before long.If this night wasn't the end of the world :-)Snape's pick up line was great.And I only can agree with him: Merlot with ice is a reason the get your temper up.

I think Hermione and Ron will work things out. I think we all of friends that we love, yet could not imagine ourselfs in a relationship with. My husband would agree with you on the merlot, I try to stick to white wines
