Sometimes writing, nearly always beta reading, I love to unwind after work by reading fanfiction.
Reviews for Naming Snapes
Very clever and funny! Thanks for sharing :)
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Oh, thank YOU so much for reviewing :)
:-)
Very cute exchange back and forth. Very entertaining.
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Heehee! Thanks.
There were so many children names I couldnt keep them all straight! This would be much easier if names were retired after used once. Loved the crack!
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Thank you so much! It was fun to combine the crack prompt with my own opinions of JKR's naming schemes ;)
Loved, loved, loved this! This had me in stitches! (Sorry it took me this long to review ...)Oh, and Severina was my grandmother's name ...
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Oh, you don't have to apologize. Yours is still an open tab because I have yet to find the words. Thanks for the stars. I'm so glad it did its job. I personally fell in love with the name as soon as I read it in a fanfic years ago. I like to use it a lot; I work in a nursing home, and I come across some awesome old names.
Three sets of twins! Merrin, are you out of your mind! I know Snape might like an heir at some point, but aren't you overcompensating a bit! Poor Hermione!
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Actually, the real reason there are three sets and not just two is because I couldn't find the Latin name that means 'fourth.' Oh well, overcompensation it may be, but it's gotten quite the reaction, and it's just the boost I needed; I've been writer's blocked for months. Thanks :)

As it rightfully should, I'd enjoyed it so much,I had to review... I only review if something I read makes me happy. If I don't like what I'm reading,I move on silently.
Ginevra Minerva nearly made me fall out of my chair.LOL.
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Wow. It seems to have had that effect on a couple of other people, too. Who knew that baby naming could be so dangerous? But I just followed JKR's lead in the matter. After all, just about everyone else seemed to have kids named after them. Thanks bunches!
Lol, I saw the summary for this and thought of all the names I've been through with my girls. Loved the options. Especially the Quintus, Sextus, Septimus combo. They actually sound like names that some wizards would walk around with. As for celebrity names, you left out the most outrageous... Apple. You could have named the boy Kumquat or something.
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
I knew people would miss Apple, but I couldn't do that to Hermione, even if that was the prompt. There actually was a movie where the king had named his sons like that, the seventh was named Septimus. Thanks for the review!
SIX !!! and I thought she didn't want to look like Molly Weasley... Anyway, their arguing about names is so funny.
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Well, I imagine there were more reasons to dump Ron than just not wanting to look like Molly Weasley, LOL. Thanks for the review!
Ginevra Minerva!?!?!? I'm dying . . .
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Oh no! Well, breathe or something. Thanks. This was too much fun to write.
Very clever. Naming children is a ghastly chore. I speak from experience. Excellent job capturing the moment!
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Oh, really? I've got more names than I could ever hope to use. I'm so glad it came across right, though :)
Those poor kids! LOL
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Oh, I know! It's bad enough that Snape's their dad, but then he has to make things hard for them before they are even born ;) Thanks.
tee hee. i giggled my way through this. very amusing.
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Yay! It's so much fun to write fanfic after midnight. Thanks.
Severus has six kids? I think I'm still getting over Severus fathering six kids! The name arguement was cute, and very creative naming going on.
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Well, the story started out as a little crack and just got bigger from there. I'm glad it was amusing. Thanks for the cute smilie and stars!
I love crack factor! Though three pairs of twins... yowch. Heehee, no Lucius and Narcissa?
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
I know! Who could object to such noble Roman names? Thanks!
Very cute! I can see that while our dynamic duo have much in common...that baby names would be a stretch. :)
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Thanks! Though I think that Hermione would have a little more sense then her contemporaries about baby names.
Third set of twins? Birth control, anyone? LOL/M
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Aww, Sseverus rather thought that making up for lost time was a good idea... until the third set were born. LOL Thanks!
She never took the Mark, but Lucius did have a thing for her.”*falls over laughing*Brilliant take on a prompt!
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Thanks! Glad it was entertaining; I couldn't resist.
Lol, I always think that about twins in fanfic, too. This was cute. I was wondering if Apple would find its way in, eep.Stef =o)
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Well, Apple is the obvious one; I went to a Celebrity Baby Names site, but there were very few fruit names, actually. I think that Sandy Shore was appropriately odd. Thanks for the stars!
Triplets. Heaven forbid! :)
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
I don't think Hermione has anything to worry about. Severus' Gender Equality Twin Potion has never gone wrong. Thanks!
Their argument was hilarious! Great job. :)
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Thanks. It was quite a challenge for me to try to keep them remotely in character.
Three sets of twins? That is crack factor :D Severina is just horrible, LMAO.
Response from WriterMerrin (Author of Naming Snapes)
Thanks! I had too much fun looking up the Roman names.
