sunny33Draco is not happy with the costume Hermione has obtained for the masked ball.
Reviewed“Dammit, Granger, I am not wearing that! You just want to make me the laughing-stock of the entire school!” Draco glared at the costume the Head Girl had obtained from the Muggle mail-order whatsit for the masked ball they were organising.
“What’s wrong with it? I think you will look very cute. It will show off your eyes magnificently.” Hermione appealed to the Head Boy’s overweaning sense of his own masculine beauty.
“Point One: Malfoys don’t do cute! Point Two: It’s bloody purple!”
“So? I read a book once by a colour psychologist. Purple is said to be the colour of good judgement and spiritual fulfilment. It symbolises magic and mystery, as well as royalty. Sounds like your sort of colour, Ferret-boy!”
Draco rolled his eyes at the former insult, which Hermione alone dared to use. Somehow, from her it had become a weird term of affection. Surprisingly, since sharing a living space, they had become friends. They still tore strips off each other verbally in public, but it had become a game, complete with pranks and a score-sheet on their sitting room wall with points for the day recorded in virulent green ink. Hermione was ahead marginally, but Draco had plans which involved her hair and some magical dye in their shared shower.
“What happened to your sense of adventure? Gee, Malfoy, since you turned good, you have become a real party-pooper. I think I liked you better as a baby Death Eater!” She grinned at his grimace of embarrassment. Only she could tease him about his past, but not too often.
Draco rapidly changed the subject. “It’s going to make me look fat,” he whined. “Besides, since when have dinosaurs been cute? And who in the seven hells is Barney?”
“Oh, Draco. You must have had such a deprived childhood!”

Ha! I'm picturing him spouting off rude or inappropriate things and being overheard by some Muggle kids who are reduced to tears.

Yeah, right. The Muggle kids would bet him hands down at rude language and inappropriateness. Wizards today are so naive! :)
It will definitely make him look fat. Not to mention all the Barney hunters out there in the world. Hermione is EVIL!

That was a hoot, I can even picture Draco dressed as Barney. My daughter used to torture me by making me watch that show with her, *Shudders* I'm glad she is not into that dinosaur anymore.
