Just enough for me to want more of this. You really do write the most wonderful situations. I'm enjoying this so much. I don't know how I've missed your stuff before considering I read so MANY Snape/Granger fics.

Thank you for your kind reviews. I'm happy you're enjoying the stories' situations.Well, I normally write rather slow (I participated in this writing challenge and just got to writing a lot), so this has been a bit unique. I do plan to update, I want to continue, but I'll need some more time than I did before I believe. :D
how marvelous - I can't even put into words the "why" of the enjoyment of your work - this character development is delightful - thanks for charing

I admit that I'm tickled by your review. Hee. I'm really happy you found it amusing and delightful. I wanted to try to continue the exploration of the characters after the interesting "blue apple" challenge. Thanks for reviewing.
apple for the nice teacher? :D great continuation! :D i like how they both had their obsessions; hermione in getting closer to him in actual physical distance and snape's fascination wit his 5-a-day :D
Response from cflower (Author of Understanding Apples)
Oh! You caught the obsessions. It sort of just came to me as I wrote, but it seemed right since the story started off with a prompt like blue apples. :D Thank you for reviewing! I'm happy you found it pleasing.
Can't wait to see those blue apples growing from his apple tree!

"laughs"Ahh, I need thinking time but... I'm happy you enjoyed, and thanks for reviewing again!
Oh, good grief -- you quoted Michael Pollan! One of my favorite writers! And you continued your oh-so-intriguing story! I lurve you! Thanks for writing, and please, please continue! Severus must have his blue apple!
Response from cflower (Author of Understanding Apples)
Yup! Thanks again for the inspiration. I plan to use the quote you actually supplied in your first review in the future. I'll credit you of course too. "wink" I'm so very happy you were satisfied with the sequel. I agree with you, it'll just take longer this time as I need more, er, thinking time. :P Thanks for reviewing.
Her persistance was rewarded because he let her see just a bit more of his private self.Nicely done.Beth

Indeed. Especially after DH, I feel that Snape would truly want to open up if he felt that someone was actually willing to listen and understand. I think it's just his insecurities (like we all have), and his are very strong from his war days. Thanks much for reviewing again.
The proverbial 'forbidden fruit'. Excellent. Really a lovely build up to a quiet and intimate moment of self-disclosure.

I was a little nervous about this chapter, so I feel contented and relieved that you found it satisfying. I want to continue, but I need more thinking time than this chapter took. :) Anyways, thanks for reviewing again.
ohh this is facinating. i look forward to more. thanks
