I think this is so charming. I haven't read another about the death of Crookshanks that is so tender and sympathetic as well as lightly humorous. What a lovely story!

Though it is a short one, this was one of the greatest fan-fictions I have ever read. My eyes are still tearing. I know the sorrow of losing a companion and this story really touched my heart. Two words: Simply Amazing.
