Snape as one of the four horsemen! Ahhh! I love it!
As one of my fav characters in another fandom would put it: Awesome!
Oh, Doom. This is so chilling, but it feels so right. So perfect!I found myself saying, Well, of course that's what happened.Very nicely done!

This is a very interesting take on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!

Phew! Impressive! And what a brilliant idea.... compliment for this jewel.
This gave me more than a bit of a shiver - I've always imagined Snape as something of a personification of Death - rather like a Wizard Thestral.
I like the re-imagining of the Horsemen, but Snape reminds me more of a Famine rather than Death. If you've read "Good Omens" you'll know what I mean.
OK. I had to read the reviews to get this. The Hallows were always a bad omen!
Response from Doomspark (Author of Apocalypse)
Eh, sorry about that - it's what happens when my inner-goblin takes control.
Snape impersonnating Death itself. Interesting.
Love the idea of this story. :)

Thanks! It's always fun when someone appreciates your work.
Hm, will have to go and buy a Bible tomorrow ;-)
Holy cow! Who would have thought that Severus Snape would be one of the horsemen of the Apocalypse! That man can do anything. I found your descriptions of the other three to be very interesting. Was there any hidden meaning in their appearances?
Response from Doomspark (Author of Apocalypse)
No hidden meanings that I'm aware of - just the standard other three: Plague, Famine, and War. On the other hand, there's a goblin in my subconscious mind who may have added something to this story while I wasn't looking.Glad you liked it!
Quite stark. Unique too.I don't really understand why you have used HP characters (or character, as only Snape is recognizable) to depict a biblical prophecy, though.
Response from Doomspark (Author of Apocalypse)
I was struck by the resemblance between Snape and Death - as depicted in a tapestry of the Four Horsemen that I saw once. There's no real plot or hidden meaning that I'm aware of.
so... the uniting of the Deathly Hallows triggers the end of the world? of course, from my theological background, casting Snape as the horseman of Death on the pale horse makes him definitively one of the good guys, since the horsemen were sent out by the Almighty....
Response from Doomspark (Author of Apocalypse)
Exactly!
Super little story but is there more to come? hope so as I loved it.
Response from Doomspark (Author of Apocalypse)
Errm - since I'm destroying the world, I'm not sure what more I could write. Perhaps I'll expand it one day.
Response from sweetlysevere (Reviewer)
Well, you could go ahead and destroy the world, or, the four horsemen could be distracted and decide maybe they like the world after all :)
