To me it seems that, far from telling him she wanted him to be happy, she was telling him the opposite. His happiness was so painful to her that she couldn't live with it.

I'm completely overwhelmed by your words. They gave me chills. I know what would happen but i didn't imagine her doing that way and I suppose, in the back of my mind, I hoped he would come to her before the inevitable. After all as long as there is feeling (hate is a strong one) everthing is possible. Only indifference from him would have kill that tiny bit of hope for a better ending.
Anyway, brilliant job, sad but wonderfully done nonetheless.

Usually, suicide seems weak to me, but in this case you've made it feel as though she's taken a stand. I guess that's a good thing, but I feel odd telling someone that I enjoyed a suicide. 

She let him fly.  Did he know why?

I'm not usually a fan of songfics, but this one has managed to do what all the others have failed to.  I was caught up in the maelstrom of emotion that fills your tale.  I think you have done a fantastic job connecting the emotions in the story with the characters and in turn connecting the readers to the characters.  Bravo

Whew!  Dark and angst-filled, your story tells a tale of the ultimate retribution.  But will he recognise it for what it is?  Or will he even care?

Tragic ending.  It's too bad she couldn't come to another conclusion.  Severus was pretty beastly in this.

Very interesting. Definitely not something I would usually read, at all, but I did it anyway. In my universe, Severus ALWAYS realizes that he loves Hermione.

I'm really, really wondering what he'd say. Or what would happen had she survived.
