“You’ll have to take care of that yourself.”  Priceless opening sentence.  I hope that as their relationship becomes stronger (and I hope it does) that she may decided to help him "take care of that."

Harry can still be a prat, but somewhere along the line Ron has learned a thing or two about when to bow out graciously.  good for him.

I hope the progress that Hermione and Severus have made will be just the beginning.  It seems like a firm foundation for exploring more about each others "darkest fantasies."

Ouch. First the man gets a black eye, then he gets knocked unconscious. Seeing as Hermione can be a right bitch in the mornings without provocation, one would think that Severus would be smart enough to avoid actually provoking her temper. Especially considering she was clearly in a rather evil mood once he enlightened her regarding the boys' concern.

Hermione smacking snape around was worth not finding out what her deal is.  Well done!  :)

I love contrary/tempermental Hermione better anyway - I am looking forward to the explanation though.

This is enjoyable to boot. I liked his investigation very much. It was a distinctly Severus way of being nice. I just hope he will kiss all her wounds better - figuratively and literary.
