He needs a bludger to the head to ring a few bells! :)
oh dear. Poor Severus. LOL.
he is the most frustrating of men. thanks so much for the lovely update
"Feeling charitable, then, Miss Granger?" Snape sneered. "Or just desperate?"Oh dear. Without a doubt, that has to be the most classic unthinking open-mouth-insert-foot brain fart I've read in a long, long time. Did Severus accidentally misplace his brain and grab Ron Weasley's by mistake?
Response from Ladymage Samiko (Author of Tale of the Nightshirt)
I can only imagine that it's because the blood that was _supposed_ to go to his brain was going… elsewhere… at the time. (^_~)
lol - i love it the way it is! Severus will always be Severus and open his mouth... and we wouldn't want him any other way would we?
yessssss thank you for the update!
Poor Severus. He let his fears over rule his hopes and got a good thrashing for his troubles. Maybe he'll do better next time... if there is a next time.
My money is on Hermione. I'll bet she has something in mind to make him regret his rejection of her the previous night.
Let the games begin!

ha! suffer, you swine! great update and i loved hermione's response to the entire debacle. thanks so much
I hope he'll regret his words very badly. That will teach him to open his mouth for anything else than letting her tongue in. *wink*

Excellent story. THanks for the update. I very much enjoy it.
That Snape really puts his foot in it sometimes! You can't blame Hermione for throwing him out. He deserved it. Hopefully, she'll cool down and... forgive him. I'm sure he won't be expecting that.
It's really a shame to waste Severus' talents by making him a mere errand boy. The Ministry is, as we all have known for forever, really stupid.
Well, I am with Severus here. You can't just throw yourself at a man like him. It's bound to end in tears.
Cheers. /M
Why was I thinking we were in Hogwarts? This is much more exciting! Poor Severus the Ministry owl.
Oops. I guess sometimes the need to reject them before they can reject you is just too strong. But the cruelty was uncalled for. This Severus has the maturity of a tadpole if he couldn't manage a more acceptable way to reject her. No point getting involved with a tadpole, no matter how nice his hands are.
and that is exactly why your charcterization is dead on - he would have to open his mouth!! Thank you so much for continuing this - again your writing style is delightful and I look forward to seeing your next post

Thank you! and I can only hope I'll be a little more timely with the next bit. *^_^*
Someone gag the man! :)
Response from Ladymage Samiko (Author of Tale of the Nightshirt)
*grin* Not until later in their relationship, I think… ;-P
She gave him a black eye!!! meep!
Well then. I guess there is a bit of back story to share with the readers! What an opening!
This is going to be one big suck up appology isnt it? I expect there will be groveling!
WOOT!!! She kissed him first! Thats our girl!
She is going to make him dinner after being up all night chasing nifflers around? Me thinks she likes him!
he wasn't babbling, no, no. Cute :)
How will he react? I'm curious, so update please :)
Lucky wizard, he is! She prepared a potion for his black eye, and now she is cooking for him.
Things may just be looking up for our Severus!

Awwwww.... She covered him with a blanket, and her grey nightshirt-cum-pillow brought him sweet dreams! How sweet is that!!!
Beth
Be still, my heart! She's left him the key, invited him to stay if he wants to, and kissed him on the cheek! As a friend might... Yeah right!
She's no fool, and neither is he! Love it!
