how painful. how painfully sad. you write magnificently. thanks
You know I enjoyed this powerful piece. Sometimes in life you find that there is more questions than answers. Your style and the way you wrote this scene is unique. Like you're a witness, but you yourself can't comprehend what actually happened. You kept it personal. Great job!

Thank you so much sweety. Your professional skills and encouraging demeanor meant the world to me. You now have a very special place upon my virtual mantlepiece, and I dare say I'll never want for a different beta. You were amazing, darling!
That was fascinating, trying to figure out what they were fighting about.

"This, for the want of a child." Simply and rather bluntly put, Hermione wanted children, Severus did not, and they fought often about it. This story shows the tragic outcome of two powerful people, who are strung up so tightly, that an ill-timed crackle of fire can cause their whole world to crash about their ears. Thank you for reviewing.
Well, the killing her was a bit too much for me, but it was wll written. One thing I am curious about, it was a shotgun wedding which usually implies a child is coming. But at the end it seems as if they were fighting about having a child and he never would? I also wonder as the author-what do you think happens to SS now? Does he kill himself, turn himself in, get caught, go crazy?
Response from MajesticJester (Author of This, From the Woman)
I think her death would have been too much if it had been intentional, but I saw Severus just lose all control and have no sense of what the consequences would be. I used the term "shotgun wedding" to imply that it happened so quickly no one ever saw it coming. I don't think I used it incorretly, just maybe in a way that isn't "typical"...at least I hope so! As for what happens to Severus now...I don't know. Weridly, I only had inspiration for the one snapshot with little thought to how they got there (outside what was included in the story), and even less on what happened from there. It really was written to be a suspended moment in time, nothing else. Thank you so much for reviewing!
Oh my God. ohgodohgodohgod. He killed her. After 15 years of fighting and loving and living, they fight and he kills her. For a child. It is sad, so incredibly sad. I HATE these kind of stories. And yet, it was beautiful. He won. He lost. That he couldn't see beyond to what could have been MORE.I'm fucking crying, damnit. How can I hate it and love it at the same time?!
Response from MajesticJester (Author of This, From the Woman)
You got it in one - he won, but at the cost of losing. Thank you so much for reviewing.
A reviewer above said that they both died, did he die too? I thought just she died.
Response from MajesticJester (Author of This, From the Woman)
The ending is ambiguious on purpose, but no, he did not die, at least not in this scene. Thank you for reviewing!
Disturbing... very disturbing.
Response from MajesticJester (Author of This, From the Woman)
Thank you for reviewing ^_^
This is disturbing. Everyone know that the both of them have strong personalities but killing each other is simply awful. Yes he had won again but he lost everything in the same time. wHat will happen when he'll realise that ?
Response from MajesticJester (Author of This, From the Woman)
Thank you for reviewing!
That was pretty awesome. I'm going to make a fool of myself, but, she's not dead is she? (It's cool if she is, I'm just not sure from the ending)
Response from MajesticJester (Author of This, From the Woman)
Thank you for reviewing! There isn't an author out there that minds the word "awesome", that's for sure! And the ending was meant to be kind of ambiguious, but yes...she's gone.sapphire_pheonix's response: Brilliant!
that... my gods.
So, he never wanted children?? ANd they would fight about it and this ONE TIME, she used magic on accident? ANd when he reacted he killed her?
Merlin's Beard. *whistles slowly* wow.
So, sad, written very well!
