I picked up the Harry Potter fandom around the time the first movie came out and began writing fanfic early 2005 after discovering the adult online community. I identify most closely with the Slytherins and you will see my taste in writing lends me to writing about Slytherins more often than not. In addition to fanfiction, I also make fanvids on the Harry Potter fandom. I'm a Perfect Imagination acredited beta and am willing to help authors. My main 'ship interests are Snape/OC (never really got into the SS/HG pairing) and LM/any female (with HG as a new favorite). I have dabbled in RL/OC and RL/NT and am okay with those pairings. I generally shy away from slash, just not my thing. For updates on my writing, check out my Live Journal

What she really needs is a memory of the trial, so she can see for herself.
Dun dun dun dun... lol
I'm just reading through for the first time. It certainly looks like they're set up for a successful business. I hope Lucius hasn't pulled the wool over her eyes!
Good, I was wondering the dame thing Harry and Ginny were. She hasn't signed anything. It seems that it's all in his name and she is working FOR him, not so much with. We'll see what happens when she confronts him. Nope, even reformed, I don't know if I'd trust him this blindly.
Nothing like dressing up like a princess, dancing the night away and that first kiss... Nice chapter.
Thank you for the update! So far I prefer to hope that Lucius are not the man Harry & Ginny (and probably a few other Weasley's) paint him to be. I find it strange that Harry trusted him to stay in the same house where he, his wife and child were sleeping, but find it prudent to interfere when a grown up Hermione makes business plans with the same man?Nope, I hope you will make Harry look foolish here and not let Hermione make any rash decissions that migth harm her relationship with Lucius!
Hmm... Good, or evil? I suspect good.
Thanks for another update. I won't rush to judgement. i have a feeling that this Malfoy might have already had stuff written up to protect Hermione. That would show the Potters!Of course, if you want to make him evil, go right ahead, it won't upset me, either. I'll enjoy the tale either way!
This is a very interesting story and I look forward to reading more.
A very interesting start, I really look forward to follow this story!!!
I normally don't read Malfoy stories, but I decided to read every challenge entry so here I am. I think you've done a good job of presenting Hermione (and me) with new ideas about the Malfoys.
Hermione and obsession. They go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Interesting start. A good Lucius. Excellent!
Wait ... I just looked again and saw that this story is listed as 'complete'. That can't be right! You've left me hanging! Evil author! Evil! This just begs for another chapter, or at least an epilogue. Please?
Well, it appears that my suspicions about Lucius were wrong ... but then, I've been wrong before.I guess we'll find out the truth when you've finished spinning your tale.
Is Lucius about to revert to his former nastiness?I hope Hermione doesn't get burned too badly ...
Oh, dear ... I'm afraid I'll be doing a lot of skimming in future updates. Just can't wrap my brain around a Lucius/Hermione romance. That doesn't mean it's not a good, well-written story, however, because it is. Just not my cuppa.
I'm looking forward to seeing how thier business venture goes.(To be honest, though, I may have to grit my teeth through any kind of personal/sexual relationship between them ... that just skeeves me out)
So the seeds are planted and she's going to work with him? Somehow this all seems to be fitting together nicely. Hummm.
Wonderful story. I don't think he is manipulating her... I have the feeling that he's doing some thing else, something good. I really like the way you've portrayed Malfoy here. It's nice to think of him as the suave type, the kind of man that will take care of things, business saavy and yet still sexy as hell. =)Looking forward to the next chapter most definitely!
Here is how intriguing this chapter is: I don't know if I buy it but it seems plausible. I like how you've pulled all the information from canon and are presenting it as evidence. I'm still on the fence, and the jury is listening...
This is a very interesting look at the Malfoy family. I would have liked to know more bits and pieces of what Hermione read... but still, you paint quite a picture.
While Harry and Ginny are right, she should not be overly suspicious right from the start. Why not simply ask him about it? But nobody should start a business without a water-tight agreement. "Love and Money make friendships come to an end" (another one of those German proverbs I am so fond of ...)
It never occurred to me that Hermione might have been so naive as not to protect her work legally; took it for granted that she did. I do hope she will ask Lucius about it in a neutral way, and not immediately accuse him without giving him the opportunity to defend himself. After all she doesn't know yet if he cheating her or not. BTW, what happened after that kiss? Just good friends and no more? Isn't it a bit strange to leave it at that and not even talk about it, or going out again?
They just had to make her think negative towards him, didn't they? Man, and it was going so well too. I can't wait to see what happens next.
