Reviews for Between the Lines
Cute story, i love seeing Crookshanks's point of view on the two humans.
I love storys, from Crooks POV , and just the thought of Severus purring, set my butterflys loose.
I enjoyed this, particularly that Crookshanks was the narrator.

Thank you! He was quite proud, himself. :)
It's absolutely delicious. Evrything is fur and silk and purr. *sigh* It's just like a soft blanklet to pull around me when I'm cold. I love it enourmously.

Things that make you go "awwwwwwwww...!" Such a sweet, fluffy story -- and yet so hot at the same time! After all that sexual tension, I think I may need to collapse on the fainting couch for a spell. I particularly love the way in which you brought in Crookshanks's perspective (or maybe that should be purrspective?) His thoughts on Hermione's and Severus's hair reminds me of one of my parents' cats who for some reason loved to investigate people's hair. Very sweet animal -- dumb as a box of rocks, but very sweet!

LOL... pushes couch to appropriate position so as to catch you when you faint. :)Thank you! Crooks does have his priorities very clear, doesn't he? Purring and petting (and being pet). Fortunately, he's half-kneazle, so he's got some intelligence, to boot! Thanks for reviewing :)

Err... did they remember to take the book?
Response from shefa (Author of Between the Lines)
*grinsSomehow, the book was far less interesting when they discovered their interest in each other was reciprocated! LOL

Your story is sweet and their tentative comments about the book each wanted, of course, led the way to tentative kisses that each wanted more!Crookshanks is a wise familiar who knows a good pelt when he see one!Loved it!Beth
Response from shefa (Author of Between the Lines)
Yes, Beth -- so true how the processes parallelled one another. Crooks is so wise, and he has his priorities straight. Purring and petting pelts :) Thanks so much for reviewing! I'm delighted that you enjoyed this.

! Crooks is a wise, wise cat. That dark, shiny fur is quite a treat. :) He didn't understand the appeal of the book, much, but then again, they left the books in the library, so they couldn't have been *that* important... *grins.

What a brilliant idea to bring in Crookshanks' point of view! And that book ... oh my ...I need to get to the library more often.Cheers. /M

Thank you, morgaine dulac :) Crooks did insist, and one doesn't argue with a half-kneazle. Libraries are places where many good things happen, I should head over to one more often, too!

furr real.yes, it seems, severus has learned to purr.a nice little story. and the book in question, has there ever been found warmer words to describe the content of, and the need to get a certain"book"? *gg*nice indeed

, I'm delighted that you enjoyed this. Severus is quick in so many ways, but he took such a long time to stop the snarling and start to purr. It's a good thing that Hermione is patient -- to a point. :)

I love Crookshanks more every time I read this! My favorite line is the one about the wistful gleam and silent hope. My second and third are the ones where he's thinking about Severus purring ;)
Response from shefa (Author of Between the Lines)
I'm so happy that you enjoyed it, Merrin! I've never written Crooks before. He does have quite the insight, doesn't he? He has the right idea -- purring and petting. Priorities, right? :)
Response from WriterMerrin (Reviewer)
Oh, I keep remembering things I wanted to say about this story. I like that, though the story is charged and full of double meanings, most of them are more emotional than sexual.
Response from shefa (Author of Between the Lines)
Ah, yes! Thank you for that! I do like a bit of heat (or more than a bit), but if it isn't emotional, it won't work, IMO. If I've succeeded in hitting those emotional buttons, I know that the story has done its work. So, thank you! And I'd love to hear whatever things you keep remembering about the story -- I appreciate you sharing them with me!

Hehe cute story, I always love seeing things (even parts of the story) written from Crooks perspective. Glad Snape finally learned how to purr! Lol.
