I think that is fundamentally the problem. He might love her if he let her be too close. And she might not be harbouring the same feelings. Always the insecure one.

Ah, Lupin is a wise old wolf with quite the quick wit. Despite Severus snide comeback, hopefully Lupin will talk some sense into him.

Thank you. This all started due to the snow prompt from grangersnape, but it seems so natural for Snape to love the snow.
