Mostly Harmless! Though I have to admit, I'm even stranger than I appear. ;-) There's a pile of unbeta'd stuff on my LJ (dracfic) if you're interested in Raw, Untamed, fanfic.
Believe it or not, "How Argus Filch Got Wild, Got Laid, and Got His Magic" has been rec'ed by Know It Alls! It's true! They gave me this pretty lil' ribbon and everything! And in March 2007, they saw fit to likewise reccommend (as an antidote to angst) the story that started it all, 'Courtesy of Your Fairy God-Jarvey'--just in time for the first anniversary of that story's posting! *hugs Harm*
(I also have to admit that 'mostly harmless' may not be the most apt description of a member of the Mad Chatters...)

Lol... I definitely enjoy the slash story arc better, simply because Scorp says the best lines while trying to embarrass everyone else around him!

I love it! How I've missed these guys--and ghost! Always a bit older with each installment, eh? That mean... sniff... That someday you'll be done with them and Snape? Say it ain't so!
Did ya go to Terminus, are you on LJ, do you have pictures of cosplayers?

Author's Response: *wibbles* Well... They will grow up, eventually. But I can't foresee being altogether done with them--or Snape--just yet. Have faith that when the end eventually arrives, it will feel like the time is right!
I am indeed on LJ (see my TPP bio for the link--I think they've enabled a feature whereby putting links in a review/response sets off some kind of alarm) under the name reginafletcher. The idea was to make it the Fairy God-Jarvey's LJ, but she appears to be semi-retired from blogging and content to let me use it for things like posting Terminus photos.
(Yes, there are Terminus cosplay photos. Including a tuxedo-clad Draco dancing with a similiarly formal Harry! LOL @ 'pretty Dracos' remark!)
I love reading the different story arcs on this one. Naturally, I'm in favour of the slash one, though I must say that with this particular installment, the het one was actually better. Because it was actually slashier. :-D Or maybe I'm just getting permanently damaged and see UST between all my favourite boys. LOL. Good work as usual.

(Even children's cartoons start looking slashy if you stay in the fandom long enough!)I have to say that I love the idea of Al & Scorp together--but I've been falling rather more in love with the gen storyline, because Albus (and to some extent, Scorpius as well) seem to make more bold statements about their personalities in that one. I get the inspiration for their character development whilst writing the het, then have to try to transfer that depth to the slash. Thanks so much, once again, for a thoughtful review--and thank you as well for the recommendation to Know-it-Alls! Someone mentioned the rec in their review and I was absolutely blown away by what you had to say about the Standee series. I am most humbly grateful, and I hope that I can maintain the same high standard for the remainder of that series. (And please, warn me if it appears that I'm not!)
