An Extension of my Romancing The Wizard story - Lost and Found. Their romance had been, through necessity, brief yet intense, infuriatingly unconsummated, but nevertheless significant for them both. Moments were grasped whenever possible: when he brought her notes about the Horcruxes when the boys were away. What happens after the events of the Battle of Hogwarts.

What can I say a 30 something mother of 1 who works as a clinical chemist in a path lab and has a 'thing', if its possible to have a 'thing' for a character, for a certain Potions Master.
RL has stalled the plot bunnies and I've no idea if/when I'll feel like writing again.

C'mon, Severus. Wake up! We need for you to wake up and return to Hermione... she's so sad.Maz, I can't tell you how much I adore this story! Sometimes I get chills just thinking about Severus being in a coma, and wanting Hermione to know he is alive...It's brilliant!

Awww Beth,You always manage to make me smile when you leave a review. Severus does need to wake up but it won't all be sunshine and roses when he does finally wake, there is more angst to come. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your reviews both here and at my LJ. The next chapter, Distractions, is currently passing between myself and my two wonderfully talented beta's, the adorable Scoffy and the bewitching little_beloved.I struggled with writer block for a bit this month but I have the bit between my teeth again and the next three chapters after distraction are outlined and waiting to be written.Hugs and much love

Thanks for the review the third chapter Distractions is written and is being polished as I type this by me two wonderfully gifted beta's.Underwater sums up beautifully how Hermione is feeling at the minute, she wants to move forward but she is still grieving for Severus.

This is so awesome that Severus is waking just enough to whisper Hermione's name. Lucius and Narcissa are taking such good care of him, and I'm certain wakefulness isn't far away for our Severus. Minerva will keep an eye on Hermione until Severus can do that himself. 8^)Every time I read this I find another reason to love it!!!Hugs, Beth

Awww, I really didn't realise that it would provoke people to cry. I did shed a few tears as I wrote this chapter but that's because I did get lost in it whilst I was writting it.I hope to get the next chapter off to my second beta later today. So the next chapter should be up sometime next week.

Hey there - I can't wait to read more of your story. I must admit you caught me shedding tears alongside the elf there near the end.... so sad, the grief Hermione feels. I hope Severus can pull through to replace that emotion with happiness. Lucius needs to get a move on and get Hermione to the bedside of Severus so he can recover fully ! Please update soon...while I dab my eyes and blow my nose - I wait with eagerness for your next chapter. Nice writing too, I got lost in these first two chapters and felt I was in the story.

Most SS/HG stories have them get together, but they don't cover how Hermione must have felt after Severus 'died' the idea of this story is to look at how they both are affected by what happened during the Battle of Hogwarts.Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, it means a lot.

So now Hermione is going to have lunch with Padraig. Albus and Minerva obviously know who he is, but we do not yet know. This chapter is so full of longing, and in places it breaks my heart. I don't want Hermione to forget about Snape. I do want Severus to ask Lucius to bring Hermione to his side.Well done, dear! I can't wait to see your next update! 8^)Beth

Ah, Beth,Fear not this is an SS/HG story. I am sorry about the angst at the minute but there is a pin prick of light on the horizon.Padraig has a specific role in the story; He's not been added to completely distract Hermione.Hermione is still feeling the loss of Severus, and I doubt that she will be ready to find someone else.The next chapter is almost there, I need to slip in another section and then I will be truly happy with it. Why the devil hasn't Lucius had Hermione visit Severus? Is it because she is Muggleborn? Severus obviously wants and needs her. Hermione is obviously suffering without Severus. Lucius surely found this out from Minerva. If the Malfoys are keeping them apart for their own reasons, they are not being true friends. As for this new guy, a cross between Albus and a Weasley? Shudder.

Yay, I've finally managed to catch up with the last two chapters!I'm enjoying this a lot - and intrigued, too. I do wonder why no one has seen it fit to inform the very obviously grieving Hermione that Severus is alive, and, now, also awake. I can only assume they (Minerva in particular) have some sort of plan in mind.

Why hasn't Lucius let Hermione see Severus? Why hasn't Severus asked to see her? Please, don't let her become involved with someone else while Severus lives! I have been following this story from the first, and will be better at reviewing! It's very well done, you capture Hermione's emotions very well, and I look forward to the next chapter!

I am trying to keep Severus as close to canon as possible so he has survived with his snark intact.Hermione is in no state to move on from Severus with someone else at the minute. She has to face Spinner's End and Padraig has a very distinct role to play.I'm so glad you think I'm capturing Hermione emotion's. I'm overwhelmed by Hermione's state of depression. It must be a difficult period going through the death of one's love but living in death is not the solution.I hope things will get better in the future.
