Bravo! I'm very impressed with how well you did without naming any anatomical parts (a good challenge). I do sometimes get annoyed with the use of shoddy synonyms in smut.And... you already have 16 chapters of A Murder of Crows? I am elated!

Squee - thanks so much, darling!! It was an excellent challenge and a lot of fun to write! Oh, and I should mention that "A Murder of Crows" is complete (33 chapters)!! I'm just going through the process of cleaning each chapter and then getting it through 2 beta's and a Brit-picker... so updates will occur frequently! This is my favorite part: "(he)smiled down at her in a very I-just-did-naughty-things-to-my-new-wife sort of way." Tee hee. This was very neat, the way you were able to let the reader know exactly what they were doing without mentioning what body part they were using or doing it to.Is there another part to this? I admit, I did the first part and am working on this one.

It is really interesting how the omission of naming certain parts makes a scene less smutty and more poetic. I like smutty scenes as well as the poetic ones, it wholly depends on the story. It is just interesting to see through such experiments how small modifications change the atmosphere completely.

I think it was a very good exercise; certainly it forced me to think in an entirely different way. It can be easy to fall back on familiar terms, which, as you point out, have their place as well. It was nice to be challenged to (dare I say it?) think outside of the box.... (sorry!).Thanks so much for leaving a review and letting me know what you thought!

Very impressive to tell a steamy tale with no mention of parts. This is well done, so apparently they are surplus to requirement.
