my catalyst into the world of hp fanfic was the ignominious death of severus snape by snakebite in dh.  grrrrr.  he deserved better, and i set off on a mission to find it!   i appreciate and admire the vast and limitless creativity of all of the wonderful writers on this site and in this fandom.

accordingly, for me it's mostly about snape: ss/le, ss/hg, ss/rl are my favorite ships.  i especially like happy endings for those who did not get them at the hands of jkr.

If you throw your writings in the bin, I'll send Snape's ghost to bother you (and not in a nice way!!) You can never go wrong writing what you feel.

oh, i'm scared!i know what you say is true - it's what i tell myself when necessary.  i have to write what is mine to write and not worry about how it compares with other people's.  or whether it will garner me the most reviews.thanks for reading some of my stuff, and for the pretty flower.  :D

I'm going through quite a bit of self-remodeling right now, and this poem was fitting and an excellent reminder that everyone's fighting their own internal struggles.I loved the stanza: "I am nonetheless imprisoned Within my own stale, musty thoughts and seemingly unbreakable habits."

Response from kittylefish (Author of War and Peace)

thank you so much, my dear!  i'm glad that you could relate and get something from the reading of my poem.  i'm happy you singled out those lines.  my struggle is to remember that every day presents an opportunity to shake off the dust and break free.   i really, really appreciate the review and the stars.  :D
