This is a brilliant story. So much more than your plans. Told with such graphic pictures it came alive. Excellent work.

What an unique idea!
Response from chivalric (Author of Snape's Bed)
All because of the prompt, dear ;-) Thank you for reading and reviewing!
I loved it! It was really a unique story and I found it really interestng that you started to write the story one way, but it ended up being a different tale completely.
Response from chivalric (Author of Snape's Bed)
That's because the bed got the better of me. I wanted to write a different story; the bed decided otherwise ;-) Thank oyu for reading and reviewing!
Oh my goodness... this was absolutely beautiful! I thought for a moment there that he was truly gone, but no... love brought him back. Love defeated death... love gave him a second chance. And in a so very unconventional (but utterly brillaint) way. Bravo!

I got inspired by Robin Hobb and her Golden Fool there. Glad you liked it! And thank you so much for reading and reviewing.

Just perfect. Is Hermione the former student he married in the fic?
Author's Response: It is in my world, as Remus is his male companion, but I deliberately didn't put names in so everyone can image whoever she likes. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
I very much enjoy reading your stories. This one has to be one of the most poignant, beautiful stories I've had the pleasure to read. I'm glad you took the story line from "the bed's" point of view. Very well done, Thank You!
Response from chivalric (Author of Snape's Bed)
I am very glad you liked the story, and also that you took the time to review. I don't say I write for reviews, but well, they still make my day ;-)
Ok, You've done it, I was crying by the end of this story..Well done!! Such a touching story, I love how you told Severus' entire story, the cruelties and heartache made me weep for him, What a wonderful story...Very well done...Excellent, excellent...Glad he is finally happy, which is what he deserves...
Response from chivalric (Author of Snape's Bed)
Exactly my opinion - after such a miserable and hard life, he earns some happyness, ideally not only with on, but two lovers ;-)Thanks a lot for reading and reviewing this story! *hugs you*
Response from Becky (Reviewer)
*hugs back* Yes Severus deserves some happiness, I was appaled by what JKRowling did to our HERO, I'm STILL mad at her!! He deserved so much better!!!

This was such a sweet story. It reminded me so much of Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree," except it ended on a much happier note.
Response from chivalric (Author of Snape's Bed)
Thank you so very much. After all the angst and fear and dying, I couldn't let it end that way. In my world, he always survives ;-)

I can't imagine that anything you might have originally planned to do with these prompts could have turned out any better than this story did.“Imagine this end, this bitter, useless, worthless end. It still makes me angry. No one took care of him. No one held his hand in his death hour.”With these few words, you've concisely summed up the feelings of all of us who read DH and wondered why JKR couldn't have treated Snape with a bit more compassion.I loved this story, and you got my vote.
Response from chivalric (Author of Snape's Bed)
*hugs you*Thank you so much for your review! I channeled my own thoughts and my own bitterness into this story, remembering my dumbstruck, shocked reaction at Snape's death in DH. I couldn't believe it, I didn't like it, and so, decided to change it. I have saved him in many ways by now. but I must admit, the bed very precisely pronounces my opinion of how it should have ended. Thanks for reviewing!

I am so glad that you listened to the bed. This is a truly wonderful story. I love the idea of telling his past, present and future through the bed. I was bawling like a baby when the bed received it's deceased master. That was so very well written and what a wonderful surprise that the bed brought him back, and as a better person. Thank you.
Response from chivalric (Author of Snape's Bed)
I truly tried to bend the story to my liking, but failed. The bed was very insisting, and the story got sadder than I had intended initially. Only that I couldn't let him die, could I?Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

I thought I'd left a review for this , but I hadn't. What a beautiful story. If you had said I would read and love a story told by a bed. I'd have laughed my head off. Nevertheless, I am happy to be proved wrong by your well written story. I was so pleased it all ended well. The passage after he was abandoned in the Shrieking Shack is so sad. I had proper tears in my eyes! After all he's gone through he needs to be loved, even by a bed. Itwas quite disturbing that the bed was more motherly to him than his own mum. At least he has a wife (Hermione, maybe?) to love him.Well done! I know I will come back to this story again and again

If one had said I would write a story about a bed, I would have laughed, too, dear. But the bed nagged, and I had no chance to write down what it had to say. It turned out to be a sadder story than I had intended to write, but then, to cause emotions such as yours is why I began writing in the first place. Thank you so much for your lovely review and special thanks for saying you will read the story again.

This has to be one of the most amazing stories I've read in a while. And so full of surprises. Very beautiful and touching. I want a bed like that.
Response from chivalric (Author of Snape's Bed)
Oh, so do I. What I haven't figured out yet is if Snape knows how amazing his own bed is...Thanks for reviewing!

Lovely and sweet, like the bed itself--and why should it not be responsible for bringing its master back from the dead? It is, after all, magic! An original and quite touching little tale--very nicely done.Thank you for listening when the bed began to speak!
Response from chivalric (Author of Snape's Bed)
I fought for a while, trying to write my story, not the bed's. No chance :-) Thanks for reviewing!

That made me cry. heheheh... the part when he died, and no one caring for him.Just full of tears I am.What a well done story, told from the POV of the bed! Nicely done.

wow, great story. Makes me a bit tearful. Anything reminding me of just how terrible life was for Snape, how unloved he was, just hurts. So I also love any fan fiction that gives him something better after the shrieking shack! Thanks!
Response from chivalric (Author of Snape's Bed)
In my opinion, the Shrieking Shack is not the end, but the beginning for him, in most fanfiction stories and definitely in mine. I consider it too cruel to let him die after such a horrible life. He earns better. Thanks a lot for liking the story and for reviewing.
