I'm so glad you write it because it's so beautiful. You had me on the verge of tears quite a few times. *secretly hands the plot bunny a bunch of muse's spirit*

Thank you for writing this it is truely beautiful.  This felt so real.  The pain of a close knit family was really felt and I loved the hope of happiness Ron found in Hermione.

Thank you. I tried to make the emotions feel as real as possible.

I can't decide whether to laugh or cry. . . the prospect of Fred dying is awful, but the picture of him leading a conga line around his casket with fireworks popping overhead. . . *sighlaughsob*You are so cruel to me! I'm feeling two opposite emotions at once, and it feels really weird! Argk! But thank you for writing this story. It was wonderful in a somber way, and I really loved it.~Katie

Thank you so much for your review. I felt like Fred really deserved a party, even though everyone would be sad about his passing.

Great, thoughtful, beautifully written - did I forget anything? I like the idea of a funeral ending in a party - I have once seen a movie of a funeral in New Orleans where they played a slow march on the way to the cemetery and some crazy jazz on the way back. I guess that's what I would love to have...

Thank you. I thought a party would be much more suited for Fred than a conventional funeral. I'm glad you agree.

That was tragically sweet.  And yes, I could see a ghostly Fred doing the conga.

You chronicled Ron's grief in such a painfully accurate way.  I felt that I was there, grieving along with the Weasleys.  I appreciated the way you depicted Percy, too.  I imagine, that since he had just re-embraced his family just moments before Fred's death, that he would carry quite a burden, as well.  Beautifully written.

Response from kalina_blue (Author of Rest in Laughter)

Thank you. Glad you like it. I just had to include Percy, especially since he was the last person to talk to Fred.
