Winner for the Anything Goes Challenge's One Shot Category! The marriage law turned out to be a disaster, and now couples are getting divorced as soon as possible. Severus Snape and Hermione Granger are looking forward to it – they only have to come to an agreement about their possessions, which isn't an easy thing.

Oh, you got me as surely as Carlyle here. I really thought they were at each other's throats.

Oh, I loved this story! I was giggling throughout it, but at the end with the reaction at the office to Hermione's pregnancy I swear I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes...then to go on and bring Pansy Parkinson into the mix...lol!"She's pregnant. With twins," Carlyle whispered. Gemma paled at that revelation. "Good Merlin," she breathed. "Children? For those two? It has been dangerous to go there so far; from now on, it will be a suicide mission!"Absolutely wonderful, delightful, hillarious story...thank you thank you thank you for sharing it! :D

What an excellent way to answer this prompt!
Response from chivalric (Author of Divorce)
Was a bit worried as the prompt clearly calls for a longer story. But then, I couldn't resist writing it this way...Thanks for reviewing!

LOL that was fun!"...the kitchen in the Snape and Granger household was a big, warm, and friendly place" This should have warned me! Yet no, I swallowed the "nasty couple" thing until the final twist. You even managed to give us some Severus-Hermione fluffy moments and to elicit our sympathy for poor nice Carlyle.Well done!
Response from chivalric (Author of Divorce)
Good to hear that. I didn't want to give anything away, but couldn't resist to describe the kitchen as it is: lovely ;-)Thanks a lot for reviewing!

LOL. That was great. I love the twist at the end. It seems like something the two of them would do just to annoy the Ministry. I can totally understand fighting over the dogs. My husband jokes with me all the time about custody battles over the dogs.

The real Cara is currently lying under the table, her snout on my feet. I love her dearly and would kill to keep her. As my ex had to experience :-) (Well, I didn't really kill him, but nearly...)Thanks a lot for reviewing!

*beams* Thank you very much for reading and reviewing!
LOL! I must say they put on quite a convincing show. I was wondering why it had taken them so long to get that divorce when Severus mentioned why that the law had been abolished several years earlier. I suspect they're actually rather enjoying that little show to scare new ministry employees, otherwise they would probably have got legally re-married. Given that they both know Pansy rather well, I also suspect she's going to have a REALLY hard (and dangerous) time come next year.
Response from chivalric (Author of Divorce)
They definitely enjoy the show. And they will tear poor Pansy to pieces ;-)Thanks a lot for reading and reviewing!

That was brilliant! Funny and the ending was unexpected. Here I thought they hated each other and I wondered why they hadn't divorced sooner. Great story.

Great fic!!! I really didn't expected that end, not with that beginning. Thanks for the fun, I laughed a lot =]
Response from chivalric (Author of Divorce)
Thanks, dear! Some said they knew it would end like that, some were surprised, but most enjoyed the story, which is all that counts for me ;-)

Great story. I love it. Although I think it would be funnier if Pansy already knew all about the Snapes and refused to go.
Response from chivalric (Author of Divorce)
She isn't that smart - if she knew, she would go to scold them ;-)Thanks for reviewing!
Buahahahaha! Sequel! Sequel! Sequel! Pwetty pwease? You should! I about died laughing... "went to hide under his desk" heehee.
Response from chivalric (Author of Divorce)
Thanks so much for the laugh, but I really think I cannot top this story ;-)
great exchange!Poor Parkinson, especially since they could get more personal with her.---You were not really following the promt, but it's great anyhow, or maybe because you didn't?
Response from chivalric (Author of Divorce)
The prompt triggered the idea, and I tried to follow it, but found I didn't want to make a multi-chaptered story out of it, and to put all of the prompt in, a one-shot is too short. So I decided to apologise for altering the prompt instead ;-)Thanks for reviewing!
