This was certainly unusual! Very nicely done too!You know, without doing the maths, which I think makes it impossible... I could swear you were trying to imply that Rose's paternity was elsewhere than the Weasley line...

As you know, I've done that elsewhere, but it does require tweaking the timeline.) Though I am fond of the idea of her being Severus' daughter, so maybe that leaked through subconsciously?

I like your story -- it has an interesting premise. I wonder if there might be a longer tale in the making if only a way could be devised whereby Severus could leave his portrait and truly interact with Hermione? *Hint hint*
