It is interesting to see each of their perspectives. Both Severus and Hermione feel that they were left behind/rejected by the other.

Sorry I haven't left a review before now.I love the story you are weaving, the fact that Severus feels at home with Kat is sweet.I love that Severus was all snarly but also slightly unsure of how to proceed when faced with Hermione and Ron.Looking forward to the next chapter

Wasn't expecting that. He's so matter of fact and she's cheating herself by keeping up an allusion of a normal relationship with Ron, while harboring the hope of attaining that 'normal' relationship with the man of her choice.

Snape's pretty sedate, quite nice to see. Interesting tidbit with Kat dropping the bottle and deciding not to serve it again.
