Bravo! So, is he in love with Hermione, Lily, or Kat? And then suddenly it's the fifth anniversary of his departure from britain. -(when I look back, it seems like five years go that fast!) After 5 years, he should be over Hermione, maybe even un-obsessed with Lily, right?I do hope you have more soon! evil cliffie! I love it.

Well, good to know that Kat knows a rebound when she sees one. She's definitely the type to protect herself. And then, on the fifth anniversary of his disappearance, the screen door to the bar creaked open, and an English couple entered.Five years?! The English couple sounds rather ominous to me...

Isn't that just like Severus? He pushes away that which could make him happy if he would only allow it!I understand why this chapter seemed a bit 'rushed,' and I enjoyed it anyway.Looking forward to more!

Well! not what I expected! That's good, by the way. I hate to see our Hermione unhappy, but this is different and I look forward to more. I hope Hermione and Ron will end up happy, and that Severus will too. I am such a sucker for happy endings. I think it was natural for Hermione and Snape to fall into some sort of romantic relationship under the circumstances. And hard to give it up, even thought she married Ron anyway. Sometimes it's hard to give up a love that is no good for one.Gee, Now I wonder where he went?

Grrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!! It was going so well until they had to end it!He could barely speak, he rarely left his flat, but he researched and wrote a little, and every Thursday afternoon between one-thirty and four, he fucked Miss Granger. I love that line... I can't explain why its just so casual, I guess lol...Looking foward to more. Sad that she even MARRIED Ron and then he pushed her away but still, it's a great story.

In theory, yes. But one of the problems of writing from Severus' POV, especially when he's in the condition he is, is that his sense of priority isn't necessarily ours! :) I struggled a bit with this chapter, trying to get Severus more fleshed out, especially with his interactions with Hermione. But he seemed to prefer to pretend not to want much to do with her beside the occasional, er, session. Thanks for reading/reviewing!

It's one of the problems I ran into, teling the story from Severus' POV: asking what would be important to him and therefore stuff we, as the reaader, wouldn't necessarily see. I'm so glad you liked it, hopefully you'll enjoy the rest of it as well!

I am going to be honest. Even though I liked the interaction, I felt like I was watching a movie and fast forwarded through it. I would have loved to see more of his recovery.

I know what you mean. I struggled with this chapter a little, and finally decided that Severus' immediate recovery wasn't what I wanted to focus on quite so much. What happens later, I found, was going to be more important to the story. Thanks for reading/reviewing!
