Poor, dear Bob. Truly a touching ending to the story, and a fitting tribute to the love between humans and their animal friends.
Also, I love the idea that Einstein, Heinlein and Hawking were/are wizard-Arithmancers, and that Master Hawking has agreed to accept Hermone as his apprentice. Sweet.
The one thing for which I don't feel a lot of enthusiasm is Severus' tendency to give Hermione affectionate names like 'Goddess' or 'vixen' - not that he wouldn't, necessarily, but I have a hard time imagining him saying it. It doesn't seem to fit, somehow, but then that's just me, probably.
One final thought: If not for Neville Longbottom and his horrendously gone-awry potion, Severus would most likely have drifted obliviously on through his life, miserable and lonely, without ever allowing himself to notice that Hermione totally had the hots for him. Therefore, I think he would do well to rethink his antipathy toward the boy and name his and Hermione's first son Neville. I mean, hello - gratitude.

ROFLMAO! No Snape of mine will ever name the child of his loins "Neville", at least, not unless it's a slashy Snape/Longbottom fic... *shudders*I think the issue about whether Snape could be a sweet talker really comes down to personal choice. To me, any Slytherin who isn't clever enough to sweet-talk a lady is a dishonor to his house and, as the head of that house, I let my Severus get away with quite a lot of it. Sometimes the most sullen and churly of people are almost unbearable sweet to those they actually care about. After all, if they were not, who would put up with them! *grin* But personally, I get as much of a kick out of a well-written, straight-talking Snape as I do a smooth talker. One of the things I most like about Snape fics is that all the Snapes are so intriguingly different.And last but certainly not least, thanks for the kind and thought-filled review! It means a lot to me! :)
Hmm. If anyone can help Severus now, it's Hermione. Please, Merlin!

*giggle* I've been meaning to do this for ages! As much as I like posting, uploading's kind of a drag. At least NJ doesn't have any italics or anything that I have to hunt down! :)
All these creatures in the forest lol makes using it as a detention rather stupid lol

Lol for once I feel like saying poor ron.... Lol he isn' having a good time. On the other hand they both should have supported Hermione's stupid plan just like she does when they do stupid things. Love the fact Harry said dunderhead LMAO. I can see it now. The unicorn sniffing at severus's bits was hilarious. 'Thats not for you!' Lol!!!
I just nearly peed myself in laughter naked severus and unicorns. Naming him bob.... omg I just about died.
Really enjoyed your 'naked journey',a little ooc for some parts...but it didn't matter as it just seemed to work better your way.A pensieve Snape at the end....I was sniffing like a first year in a potions lesson,lol.So glad I found this well hidden fic.

It was hard to get through this chapter after what happened to Bob 
... But I'm glad that Sev continued on till meeting up with Hermione before he passed out.
