Severus has always believed that, if you love someone, you must promise them the moon, and deliver it. How do you wrestle that moon to the ground?

I was so worried about Hermione before, and now I'm worrying about Remus. My heart breaks for this gentle man who is so lost without his wife and son. Can't something be done to heal him now, as well?
Poor, poor Remus. He deserves so much more.

I think if this story has a theme, it's that when we truly love someone, we take care of them at their lowest point. And it gladdens my heart that I have conveyed his sadness. I know what it is like to be pushed aside. It takes so long to trust anyone ever again.

Teddy, the line "tucking her frail little body in his arms in her cramped hospital bed" had me in tears...having a Grandmother dying of cancer at home I remember walking into the room and there on the bed was my Mom spooned around her own dying mother. It is an image I will never forget...you had me in tears. Being hormonally challenged, at this time after surgery has added to the easily sprung tears. I will tell you this though, that line would have made me dry regardless! Hugs~dee

I'm afraid I'm the one in tears now. :) Thank you for sharing that precious and tender moment with me. It will remain with me long after this story is completed, I think.I hope you continue to recover from your surgery, and that all goes well. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and review. It means the world to me.

Thank you so much, sweetie! I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
I finally got to finish this, and read the last few chapters with a smile on my face (and a giggle at Selva's full name). Beautifully done, as always, my firned. This was lovely.

Thank you! The name came from The Hubs. When he bought his last house in London, that was the name of the family who sold him the house. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Don’t think don’t think don’t think—“Then stay. Stay and make love to Hermione with me.”Why does Severus keep having to tell himself not to think? Well, the words are out of his mouth now, and the only question is what will Remus say? And I think he'll say YES! I can't wait to see what happens.Beth
Response from TeddyRadiator (Author of Snow Turns The World Deaf)
I think, knowing Severus, that when he overthinks things, he screws them up, so he's just telling himself to go with his heart instead of his head.
Excellent chapter, but evil cliffie!!! This is a fantastic turn of events and I can't wait to sail the good ship Triad with Sev, Remus and Hermione. You made my morning! :)
Response from TeddyRadiator (Author of Snow Turns The World Deaf)
Thank you so very much! You've just made mine as well.
I have read a good one where Hermione is a cat.
Response from TeddyRadiator (Author of Snow Turns The World Deaf)
Yes I always picture her as a lion, and I think Severus would be a Raven!
Response from deedeebug95 (Reviewer)
I can also see Severus as a jaguar...Hugs Dee
OMG, you took it there!!!!! I knew it! I know you don'tlike Severus slash with anyone but Filch...but you could make an exception *gpes down on knees batting eyelashes*. Wherever you rake this it will HAWT! Hugs~dee

Hey, I love making people so excited they misspell!! No worries, I read for content!
And it just gets better and better. Looking forward to the next chapter very much Teddy, anticipation is a wonderful thing.

Thank you so much! I'm tickled pink you are enjoying it.
Hermione is magnificent as a Lioness, and the sexual tension between the three of them is palpable. The breakthrough with the Wolfsbane is wonderful, and they have the recognition that such an achievement deserves.

Was that a roar, I hear?
Man, poor Remus. :( I'm glad he's staying with people who care for him. I'm also happy to hear that Severus can laugh with the Gryffindor bunch. Off to read the next!!!
Response from TeddyRadiator (Author of Snow Turns The World Deaf)
Thank you!! I'm glad you are still hanging in there!
Hermione & Severus has found acceptanc on so many levels its so great to see how happy they are. I so liked her animagus form a true image of her "The Lioness". The Question is out their I wonder whal Remus answer will be.
Response from TeddyRadiator (Author of Snow Turns The World Deaf)
Thank you! I promise you won't have long to wait.
Teddy, I know you did NOT just leave us there. Sort of qualifies as cruel and unusual punishment if you ask me. I hate reviewing in one chunky paragraph, but I have to do it now from my phone lest I forget to come back. Their accomplishment with the Wolfsbane is huge. I am glad Severus is being given the appropriate rewards he deserves. Hermione's animagus form is stunning. You can just tell from the way she is described and both men's reaction to her. Something I've always wondered about are the rules of touching someone in animagus form. A cat sits by you, you scratch them. Totally normal reaction, but is it okay if it's someone else's wife? I didn't have to wonder for long because Severus went and blurted out an invitation. Which I was very pleased about, of course. I have to wonder if the two discussed this beforehand. Not that I think Hermione will be opposed, but it is one of those things you don't decide spur of the moment. Although it almost seemed to me that he did. I think it goes without saying that I am dying to see what happens next. Sigh. :)
Response from TeddyRadiator (Author of Snow Turns The World Deaf)
Thank you!! I know, evil cliffie. I promise I didn't do it on purpose - that's just where the chapter ended - honest!! ;)Yes, the idea of how an animagus is treated is the subject of many a slash pairing for sure, but I haven't seen it much in SSHG (I do recall one fic where Hermione was an owl, but I thought a lioness was much cooler!)
Such a lovely tribute. My heart goes out to Irish and her family. I've lost loved ones to cancer, and I work with people afflicted with it every day. It's a nasty thing, but it CAN be overcome. There is hope, and I'm so glad Hermione and Severus have come out the other side. :)
Response from TeddyRadiator (Author of Snow Turns The World Deaf)
Thank you so much, sweetie! Illness not only takes its toll on the afflicted but on those who must stand by and watch the ones they love suffer. That was the whole point of this story, really. When you love someone, nothing is too good for them, no mountain too high. You just have to love them and love them and love them, however you can.
Oh Teddy... you've made me remember why I love this pair so much. Snark, sadness, gritty reality... and Remus! Gods but I love him. I shall continue on with this angsty little tale now... *hugs*
Response from TeddyRadiator (Author of Snow Turns The World Deaf)
Bullet!!! It's wonderful to hear from you! Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I hope you will enjoy the story!
There is something very sad and disturbing about this chapter. I can't quite put my finger on it- it just seems to presage a great unhappiness. I don't know what to make of that, and only more chapters will confirm or dispell.

I think happiness can be found in very different guises, and think that perhaps you will allow Hermione, Severus and Lupin to find just that, in whatever form is appropriate for them.Clearly what Tonks did regarding Teddy was not fine. Moving on is fair enough, but the poor child had little choice, and neither did Remus. He must be hurting quite a lot - not to speek of the guilt? For he never really did want to marry Tonks and have a child, did he? At least I was never convinced of it.Anyway - I'm looking forward to how this develops.

Poor Remus. I can understand Tonks deciding she wants to be with someone else. They may have rushed into things in getting married, but she could at least tell him so. The worst part is that Teddy has moved on too, and Tonks has either encouraged it, or at least done nothing to stop it. Very sad, and as far as we know, undeserved. In the end, he is with those who care about him and would do anything for him. I loved that despite the fact that Severus acts like Remus only matters in terms of how it affects Hermione, he is the one who invites him to stay. I also wonder what will happen with their relationship. Will Remus become more than a friend to them? Will this be permanent, or just a temporary healing arrangement? Will it affect the relationship between the Snapes? I'm hoping things stay happy and rosy, but I don't know how much longer this is, so I can't judge if there is angsty stuff on the way. So, keep up the posting, you hear?

Tonks has every right to seek her own happiness wherever it lies, after all, the heart wants what it wants, but she has no right to take her sons father away from him, that is child abuse.

It's lovely to see Severus so relaxed around other people. Remus loves both of them, but there is something else going on. What that may be, we will have to wait and see.

Forgive me Teddy..for I have sinned. I have a confession to make. I didn't get into the whole HP world....books, movies, fanfic because of Le Rickman or Le Snape but because of Thewlis's portrayal of Remus in the POA film....my first. When I read the books afterwards and got into HP fanfic I appreciated even more his pathos and complete immersion into the role......mind you like Timothy Spall also I think he is one hell of a brilliant, completely under-rated actor. So.......poor Remus has been to hell and back. It's bad enough he has been rejected by his wife but his little son also. Like other readers I'm not exactly sure which path this story will eventually go down but as always I am here for the duration. Best wishes, Love Ali xxx.

Thank you so much, Ali. You sound like stgulik, my precious beta. She is a Remus girl through and through. I think you are absolutely right; Thewlis' portrayal is magnificent. I enjoy everything he does, as well as Timothy Spall - I think he's adorable, and what a lovely person as well. Did you see the beautiful film Pierrepoint: The Last Hangman? I thought he was incredible in it. One of the most moving films I've seen in ages.I hope you will continue to enjoy the story.

Hi Teddy...I did indeed watch that film. By coincidence my hubby's late grandad actually knew Pierrepoint because he lived in the Manchester/Oldham area that his family did. A few years ago both Spall and Thewlis acted in some weekly plays by Jimmy McGovern called The Street based on a Spinner's End type row of terraced houses in the same area. Pure quality.

Well,my lovely Teddy you could take this story onto several paths....I love a good menage story, but I fear that this could go darker. I will not type my guess, but I really hope I am wrong. I hope Hermione introduces Remus to a wonderful healer and the two couples are best friends for the remainder of thier lives. But this IS a Teddy story so nothing that simplistic....Well done!!
