I'm already loving it. There will be a hard time for him to move on Lilly but I'm sure this girl can make him happy.

It really was too much of a jump, to make him get married so soon after Lily died, but Dumbledore wasn't known for being nice at such moments. Thank you for the review!

Love the easten flavouring in description and unfolding of the story within the story, and the description of decour and ambience; love Dumbledore being Dumbledore, and Severus' sense of guilt and determination to honour Lily, in his way; poor Kalinda...

I usually don't favor stories featuring original characters, but this was delightful! Kalinda was important and interesting. Perhaps we love the exotic, ethereal quality? I am not sure, but I love it!

Thank you! I was surprised at how hard this story was to write, almost like thinking in a different language. I spent a lot of time reading the Arabian Nights to prepare.
For me I liked the idea of Severus finding a partner to help him through the up coming battle with Voldy. I am a sucker for happy endings. I'll be needing an epilgoue after voldy is dead. How are the Snapes and their 11 children?

The Snapes and their 11 children!? Good heavens, that's a lot to come up with. ;) I'm pondering some Arabian Nights-style exploits in which the horcruxes are destroyed, for the most part, before Harry shows up at Hogwarts. I am glad that Severus has decided he can sleep beside his wife. I thinks that is a big step for him. He is also going to be a father soon unless there is come birth control going on that I dont know about. LOL!

LOL... I'm not sure it's the sort of thing Snape would think about. He's got to grow a lot in this one year after Lily dies. It's a matter of giving up something he's always counted on, even when she wasn't physically near him.
I snorted with laughter when I read this line I think I can offer greater compensations. Well if that isnt an understatement I dont know what is! lol

To your credit - I continued to read this. I normally only read SS/HG relationships.I was curious to see where you would take this. It was nice to read something "simple" - and I do not mean that as a downplay to your story at all. This piece just has a simplicity to it that was very refreshing.I expected more than 5 chapters, though! :) The last chapter seems a bit abrupt, but other than that, I liked it well enough to continue reading. :)
