I absolutely adore everything about the Potter fandom. I love being able to connect with people I've never met over the beautiful world J.K Rowling has created for all of us to play with. I've been working on my own fic, but am hesitant to post it. We'll see what happens!
Reviews for Love Vigilantes
I love Hermione's 'dirty little secret' ; also, that Severus reminds her and doesn't want her to forget that he's not a 'nice' man - his assessment of himself for her in the letter. Looking forward to their dinner together!
Wow! He's being rather good about all of this. I'm glad he realized that ignoring the issue wouldn't help at all. I'm sure things will be very 'light' right now, as he stated, until after graduation, but what a great step for both of them.
Severus has to realize that not all cowardice deals with your actions under violent situations. He is a BIG emotional coward, whether or not he wants to admit it! I know he doesn't want to get hurt, but it seems like he's willing to hurt in order not to get hurt (if that couldn't be any more mixed up, but that's Snape Logic!) He needs to understand that there are no definite guarantees in ANY relationship. We are all just slogging along the best we can, hoping we've picked the right one, that we've made our beloved happy and that our relationships will survive another day.

Wonderfully said. I really enjoy examining the paradoxes within Severus' mind, and I hope they (at least what I perceive them to be) have come through clearly thus far in my story. It's an odd feeling to sit at my computer writing Severus' character and knowing how crazily misled he is emotionally. But I have to write him that way, even though I'd love to just have him be miraculously trusting! It's frustrating for me, and I'm sure it's frustrating for my readers, but I hope that I'll be able to begin a slow, believable healing process for him.
Ron's an idiot to think he can do anything to Severus, but I do understand his warning. Hopefully, Severus will not be all distant now.
Grammar, I should have said 'grammar'!

Hahaha, it's quite alright. I understood what you meant
Ron isn't the only one Hermione means the world to... (I know that's terrible English, but I'm sure you know what I meant!)
Too bad he had to go through all that. At least it brought her feelings to a head and now he knows... something. :) Hopefully he recovers quickly.

:) Yes, things will start to pick up a bit from here! Thank you for always reviewing! I hope you're enjoying the story!
Oh dear! Yes, Severus is in well over his head now. LOL. I love it. I enjoy his inner turmoil.

Indeed! Glad you enjoyed it. =)
You stopped at a really good part, I can't wait to read more:)

I do love a good semi-cliffhanger every now and then. =) The next chapter is in queue, but then I won't be able to update for the next two weeks. Fortunately, the next chapter doesn't end with a cliffhanger!

Thanks:)
Oooh, I can't wait for the next chapter. Excellent...nice building of tension. I still feel bad for Ron because you've written him as such a sweetie. It should be interesting to see what happens!
I love it. Poor Snape.

I'm glad you still love it. And I know, I feel so bad for him too! Stick with it though. My build-up is slow, but I'd like to think that it's all worth it! =) And thanks for always reviewing. I love hearing from readers.

I love a slow build. Really, I hate it when I see a story with Snape and Hermione in which they hate each other and then a couple of chapters later they're professing undying love. The point of the romance is to get them there in the end, but the journey is over if you get to that too quickly and then it's all anticlimactic after that. I like there to be ups and downs and some angst. I don't like for arguments to last too long without something positive but I don't want all sugar either. One story I read and loved up until the last chapter had such an overwhelmingly angsty ending I felt I needed anti-anxiety medication in order to get through it. It was so so sad but the rest of the story was amazing. Snape was just the right mix of Snark and underlying vulnerability and the female character who was not Hermione was very strong and not one to put up with nonsense. Anyway, I think if I'd had a choice I'd have left the last chapter unread. But it was a story that went from prior to the relationship all the way to the end of the characters lives. It's hard NOT to feel angst at that point. Anyway, I'll shut up now. I can't remember the title of the story. It's just another example of a great story with a slow build-up.
Things can't get much better soon, can they?
Response from potionmistress23 (Author of Love Vigilantes)
Well, things don't get better, per se, but they certainly do get interesting. I'm trying to post as quickly as possible, but the queue process is rather long. Thanks for sticking with this, though!
Snape is such a mess. I hope Hermione doesn't have to go through much more.
I love the story.
I can't wait to get more into the story, I hope you update soon1
