Due to the often controversial nature of my fics, I've decided I will no longer be posting here (this not NOT include my WIPs--Princes in Exile and Caged Bird Sings will continue to be updated here. This is regarding only my oneshots and future long fics). You can find all my stories at my Livejournal, under the name literaryspell. None of the fics are, as yet, friendslocked, so you can read at your leisure, and friend me, or not, as you like. :D Be sure to check out my master list, which is the first post on my LJ page. Thank you!
If anyone would prefer to send comments to me personally, or would just like to talk plot or make suggestions, please contact me at literaryspell@live.com. I'm happy to hear from anyone!

That was fast, rebound relationship? Or will it last?
Will Remus's biting her hurt her or pass the werewolf curse? He did it in human form but still I feel like it's a cause for concern.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Hope's Span is Long)
In this fic, only when Remus is in werewolf form can he pass along the curse. That also goes for her licking his blood.
I'm not sure if licking his blood is healthy...
I'm glad Harry stood up for Hermione, Ron's apology was great (even better he didn't try to minimize the havoc he reeked) and Tonks is in a world of crap. All in all a great chapter.
Has that woman lost her mind? Is it stress from the job (cops do have a higher rate of domestic violence), is she under a curse or is she just crazy?
Doesn't Tonks realize that by treating Remus as a dim-witted slave and her marking her territory so to speak is going to drive him away? Hopefully she will wake up and adjust her attitude...
I'm not sure what I found most upsetting, Ron grabbing Hermione like that or Tonk's behavior over Remus comforting her.
Tonks seems a bit critical and sharp tongued. What's her major malfunction I wonder?
Good thing Hermione had a soft place to land. I love Harry, but he has been known to choose Ron over Hermione in canon.
Great chapter, although I'd like to see them build and strengthen their relationship on other levels besides physical. Sex is nice, but there should be more.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Hope's Span is Long)
LOL Yeah, they get through. Through bouts of sex. :D This fic is definitely porny, but the feelings are there.
They really should communicate over this or next time there might be an accident. That girl is really naive or irrepressibly and totaly in love. And so she's blinded by her love.
I hope everything will go smoothly or Remus will never forgive himself. And most importantly I hope she will hold on to her promise.
I'm sad to them apart like that. I hope it will get better once the full moon is over.
Well, with the first full moon drawing inexorably closer and Remus' wolf side gaining ascendance, I guess something like this shouldn't be totally unexpected. It's just weird seeing the jealousy about Harry.
As for Ron's scent, I can't really blame Remus... I imagine smelling 'Eau de Ex-Lover' on his mate would be pretty galling. Even if Hermione's made it abundantly clear she wants nothing to do with the louse.
Remus may have been jealous and possessive but he was also incredibly hot. Having her bent over the sofa and being taken from behind *shivers*... I think I should go and take some cold shower.
Please not a fight again, or a male dominance show. Clearly Remus should know he doesn't have anything to fear from Harry. Unless it's not Remus...
Wow! I don't know what to say. MAybe wondering where this instinct to act like a wolf come from. Is she meant to be a wolf as well? And will he transform her so he won't have to worry about hurting her in the future?
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Hope's Span is Long)
The instinct for the wolfiness is explained soon. I don't want to spoil this for you, but Remus will not be turning Hermione. I don't think he would ever do such a thing.
I'm really enjoying your take on Remus/Hermione. Thanks for all your time and effort

Thank you so much for reading!
Did Remus' inner wolf choose Hermione as his mate and he only now realized why he felt such a strong connection to her because she approached him that way, even though she's not a werewolf herself? That's kinda what it sounds like to me. I do hope Hermione can help him... it sounds like Remus is in a seriously bad way. Maybe on some level he blames himself for what happened, even though it's really not his fault. Remus reminds me a bit of Snape sometimes, blaming himself for things that really aren't under his control. But, somehow, I don't think that's going to cut any ice with Tonks, who seems to consider Remus her personal property. Remus mentioned previously that Tonks won't be able to make it past the wards at Grimmauld Place anymore, which is a very good thing, but I wouldn't put it past her to keep the place under surveillance. I doubt she's given up on making Hermione pay. Even though Harry took her in for her behavior and threatening Hermione, I have a funny feeling Tonks will end up being released.BTW, I'm enjoying this story very much and look forward to each update. 'Hope' is definitely being added to my Favorites!

Hermione's submission definitely woke up the latent instincts in Remus. Remus is definitely the self-castigating type. Hermione might be able to help with that!We haven't seen the last of Tonks. ;DThank you so much for your lovely and thoughtful review!
I really hope Tonks will find someone to help her. And I'm glad Hermione is finally taking her life back into her own hands
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Hope's Span is Long)
Good point about Tonks finding help. She needs it! Hermione is definitely taking charge again.
I'm with Harry... Tonks' so-called "advice" sounded an awful lot like a death threat to me. She's completely whacked-out delusional where Remus is concerned and I rather doubt that Hermione's the first to encounter Tonks' crazy-jealous-bitchy side. Tonks even referred to that herself... I just wonder who the other unlucky witch(es) could have been.I was pleased to see that Harry and Ginny believed and stuck up for Hermione with Ron as well. Speaking of Ron, given that he seems to have jealously believed Tonks' ranting about Hermione and her ex-lover, I have a feeling that he'll confront her about it at some point, especially if he thinks she dumped him for Remus.Poor Hermione... she doesn't deserve any of this. But, neither does Remus. What a mess!

*bites tongue on first part**and on second*I hope you enjoy the update! I absolutely LOVE for your speculation, even if I can't address it. :D
I feel so sad for them all. I'm sure Tonks isn't that bad a person. And Hermione doesn't deserve to endure so much afer her break-up and then Ron's agression. AS for Remus, I can only hope that all will be well in the end.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Hope's Span is Long)
We find out more about Tonks later. I'm not the type to just make a character evil. There's a story there.Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!
Tonks is not going to appreciate what Remus has to say. She might even accuse him of falling for Hermione and the latter of trying to seduce her man. And knowing Tonks it's going to be ugly.
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Hope's Span is Long)
Things just get worse from there. :D
omg! omg! omg! wow talk about explosive. Tonks deserved everything she got and more. Although I can't believe Hermione is evening considering going to the burrow, Ron may not be there now, but what's to stop him being there later? Next chapter please!!!!
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Hope's Span is Long)
Hermione really had nowhere else to go, plus she feels safe with Harry. And she's still not exactly afraid of Ron--she's trying to reconcile the man she's know for half her life with the man who hurt her once. It's tough.
Tonks totally deserved to get kicked out!!! I'm glad Remus has finally seen and rid himself of the heartless bitch underneath the cute facade. Besides, Remus was obviously unhappy and Tonks was just using him for what she wanted, so their split is for the best anyway. Even if Tonks doesn't see it that way.I have a bad feeling though, that Tonks will find a way to try and get even with Hermione... probably through Ron. I really hope Remus finds Hermione before she ends up back at the Burrow. That just feels like a seriously bad idea, Hermione going to a place where Ron could turn up at any time...
Response from LiteraryBeauty (Author of Hope's Span is Long)
I'm seriously biting my knuckles to keep from spoiling. I hope you like the new chapter!
