Reviews for Volunteers
These two powerhouses together!! YES!, I am absloultely on board. They could indeed have rocked the world a little differently. If only.... Good job! Thanks for sharing!
I use to be all about Snarry/Snupin but there is something about this pairing that makes me crave more. I loved the insight into what could have happened. I also like that Kingsley didn't sing Harry's praises either, that he was just as mad that he didn't bother to learn what he needed. This also so sad because it could be cannon for all we know. Thanks for this snippet.
I had to read something you wrote, your my beta after-all! I'm not so much into Horror, or SS/HG right now so I'm passing on your others... for now... This was really good and an unusual pairing. I particularly liked Snapes description of how Kingsly would take down the Ministry seems dead on to me.

Thanks for coming along to read! I chose this pairing because I almost never see it, and I thought it would be worthy of exploration. One of these days I'd like to write a longer Snape/Kingsley, but it'll have to wait until I've finished some other stuff first.Don't be put off by the other fics, though - they are not really either horror OR SS/HG - those are just the closest labels that fit what I wanted to do.Thank you so much for reviewing! :)

Wow - this was very powerful for such a short piece. Loved this line: 'I hate you just a little bit more.’ in particular for its insight. Great piece!

Thank you! Yeah, I would think there would be a lot of resentment in a Kingsley/Snape relationship. :)

God, that was beautiful. I've always wondered why two such beautiful, intelligent, charismatic men didn't get together.
But mostly what I liked was the psychological aspects of this... "I hate you just a little bit more..." You did a great job with the anguish and desperation. Beautiful. You're new to me, but I'll look for more from you.
Author's Response: Oh wow - thank you for the wonderful review! You have really caught what I was trying to convey. :)
As a side note, I am working on another WIP which you might like: 'Soul Man.' And of course, you are not new to me, as I have been reading your own excellent SS/HG. :)
lulabelle72's response: Thanks for pointing out that you're writing "Soul Man." I keep seeing it pop up on the recently added page. I finish the very last chapter of AUM up this week and plan to catch up on my reading -- I'll definitely read, since your writing is excellent!
Interesting pairing and very well done :)

I hadn't read one either - an omission that needed recitfying. I'm so glad you liked it!
Lovely. Thanks for a great little snapshot.

Thank you! I'm so pleased you enjoyed it.
I don't think I've ever read a story with this pairing, but it was lovely.

Thank you so much! I hadn't read one either, so I decided to write one. I actually found another just after, but it was a bit pervy in my opinion, so I won't put the link. :)
