Really liking this!  Am guessing the villian was Lucius (though there wasn't enough info about him yet to be sure), if so he's only gotten more unhinged with time...  Hope Nicoletta's friends aren't pressured into abandoning her by their parents, it'll be hard enough with her having a parent on the staff especially if Severus retains his old teaching methods...  Glad she didn't lose the baby.  Was expecting the Auror to be either Harry or Ron, but still, they couldn't have assigned someone more likely to be confrontational if they tried!    Although, with her near-death experience, it might have shocked him enough to think about rebuilding the bridges he burned all those years ago... but with his stubborn/prideful nature, how likely it that to actually happen?  Looking forward to the next! 

What a perfect opportunity for a reunion, I can only hope.

Oh thank gods the baby is ok. What happened? Did I miss it? Who attacked her? I'm actually glad to see Ron in her doorway.

Oh, that was a kick in the gut at the end. Ron as the Auror at her door is just icing on the cake, isn't it? Now I'm really waiting for the next chapter. I assume she'll go to Hogwarts with Severus where I wonder if he will try to take matter into his hands and figure out who her assailant was.

Well, I'm glad it was Ron.  I was afraid it was the killer disguised as an Auror.  At least Ron won't try to kill her.  He may with his words, though, not sure. 

What a horrible plot!  (I mean the ex-Death Eater's, not yours, lol)  Severus needs to kick some butt. 

What the heck?  What happened?  Who was that masked man?On another note, I'm surprised Hermione and Severus didn't tell her something about their past.  They must have known that she would have found out some of those things.

Nicoletta won't let them down, but will all of the Weasley cousins?  Hopefully not.It's very sad the way Ron and Harry have treated Hermione.  If they had truly been her friends, they would have accepted her decision.  It is her life, after all.
